thanks for the idea - i do like the Conan the Barbarian world and its legends. doubt i could match the greatness of the depictions by Brom, Frazetta and others but i will give it a try when i have some free time!

Have you ever worked with traditional paints?

hi yes, i love oil and spent years with pencil and soft pastel- i have intentions to work more in oil again and trying my hand with tempera more, but i have alot of ideas for my scratchboard work. It has been the immediacy of digital painting that has set me on a path of trying to create more painterly work that way - so in that regard i am probably a bad digital artist. but using a wacom tablet is like like pencil and and pastel drawing for me.
I am reorganising my life though now so i can accommodate for more art and more experimentation and this will allow for returning to traditional mediums too
