i make comicbooks too... people often tell me how great and detailed they are, but my lines are not nearly as perfect as yours.. how do you do it??

I use dip pens for my inking ([link] )
It takes a little practice to draw smooth/fine lines.

oh i use dip pens too and i do a pretty good job.. but man your lines are soo superb... lol im kinda jealous

Just keep practicing and trying different methods or pen tips.
I pay a lot of attention to clean/smooth and detailed linework as that's what I like,
while some of my friends have rather rough lines and yet their art is even better.
Some others have even cleaner/sharper lines than me.
All I can say is find the style that you like the most and perfect it

well i really like both.. i like the rough lines, cuz in my opinion, it let's ppl know that we're not perfect and anyone can achieve high art skills.. i probably am gonna stick to the rough lines but i really wanna improve my line strokes a lot more too.. clean lines to me are just so great.. it's really something that's awesome on both sides if you ask me..
