Yo mog! Someone traced your art.
I also made sure it was traced by lowering the transparency of the traced image on top of yours
To further prove it was traced. This person was on the fanart TFM discordΒ
and shamelessly traced yourΒ art giving you no credit whatsoeverΒ
I also thank Voidbrain andΒ Minvida for telling me about this and
finding the original image as we all had a hunch it was traced.

Hello, thanks for informed me! Did someone told this person to not do that again? it seems that they not even trace they just took the drawing, added a yellow filter and changed the items of the mouse. I hate when someone touch my art x)
If it's necessary I can try to speak with the person who did that even my english is not very good .. I don't want they do that again in the future.

They did trace and recolour the art from what I can tell.. And everyone in the chat was like "Wait is that mogueta's art??"
So, because we were curious we went to look for the original. Which we found,Thankfully.
The person posted the drawing then left the chatroom or probably just went offline. Which is quite suspicious in itself.
I'll try to confront the thief himself so that hopefully we can put an end to it.
If he doesn't reply or blocks me I'll tell you about it. ^^

Welp, he kept the picture.
And now he's asking if he can keep it even though he never credited or asked you to use it, when you clearly told him to take the picture down.
That's pretty ironic. Since he never acknowledged you in the discord and got confused when we figured out he recoloured and traced art from you
using the excuse that "he was going to ask you" as a scapegoat to get out of the situation won't really help him. Especially since we caught him red handed.
Posting the traced/recoloured drawing on the discord like it was his own art.
Should we get the sentinel to take it down?? Or??
Also he also claims this was "his design" When it clearly isn't and is just a recolour with photoshoped items from transformice.

I just noticed that he removed the picture on his profile today o/ I hope that he understands and will stop to claim that it was his drawing.

I just tried to message the thief on discord. It seems as although they left the server entirely after we found out it was traced.. Hmm...
So messaging the thief on Discord was a bit of a waste. However, because he did leave his transformice username on the picture itself, "oddly enough", means I can pin point him down, and hopefully get in touch with him through there.

If I could try to talk to him on Atelier801, to tell him that what he's doing is wrong, and is considered intellectual property theft. hopefully will make him stop as it goes against the law.
But if he continues or even blocks me whilst doing this, I will tell you more about it.
And no problem!! I always love to help others out in situations like these.
Because it really stinks to have things like this happen.
