Hi there, sorry to bother you, but I saw a piece of Chrylestia artwork you commissioned from IcelectricSpyro about four years ago. I really liked the piece, and thought it would be a great cover image for a story I'm working on for those two characters on fimfiction - I wondered how you'd feel about me using it as cover art in that context?

I'd be happy to label it with whatever credit and link you'd like, I messaged Icelectric about it and she suggested I ask your permission about using it.

Paint Brands:
I started out with the cheap stuff - Folk Art, because if you make mistakes on the cards it comes off very easily. I gradually bought paint as I sold alters, so now I use liquitex acrylic tubes. You can get them at Michaels for 3.99-5.99 per color.

Brushes:
Brand-wise, it doesn't matter. You need soft hair/fur, and the smallest round, liner, and flat you can get your hands on. Grab 2 that are smallish, but not the smallest for putting primer on.

Some ideas/tips/steps:
- Always water the paint down.
- When mixing, add very small amounts of the darker color to the lighter.
- Always mix white/black to get a nice grey. Use that as your primer on the card.
- Gradually apply very thin watered down coats to the cards. This takes about 3-4 coats for a good, well-layered piece.
- If you make mistakes, use a wooden toothpick dipped in water to scrape em off. Push lightly and the card will be unscathed!
