Not really no, I mean, I was the guy who joined, left and rejoined AND LEFT AGAIN your bionicle group discord group since I’m a shy guy when it comes to joining another group of a community I haven’t been in for a long while, but that’s not the point

Well, I’m basically making several Mocs based off certain artwork from a user named “AndrakaNuva” , you may have heard of him, I’m having trouble in particular with making the torso design, I’ve also done my research on multiple Mocs and watched some of moc advice videos which were helpful in the sense in which that it helped me in the sense of what I wanted my Mocs finalised, but the structuring is mainly what I’m looking for. 

Heres an example of the designs I mentioned 



Now I have started something using a chest/breast design which in my opinion suits what I was going for really well for the design I was going for in the form of CallanLOF’s Pohatu revamp 

 Although I just cant just figure out how hes done it, let alone make a unique and original structure that doesnt look like I’ve just took his design, y’know?

So I was wondering how you would tackle this sort of design and how I could structure it using specific pieces and whatnot 

I hope that’s not too much trouble

Well, to me it looks like you're going for a design with pectorals, so you might want to find the parts that would serve that purpose. Try holding them in the spot you'd wish they'd be and from that you can start to think how they'd attach to the torso.

Alternatively, you can build the chest first, if it's that important a detail, and build the torso out of it.

Callan's building style is a bit unorthodox to me, so I'm not very good at analyzing how he does things. That's about all I can say, unfortunately.

That's a pretty good question. I remember times when I tried figuring that out, but my efforts back then turned out inconclusive. The fact that you need a row of axle holes is the tricky part, so I figured long ago that it would require a bit more unorthodox methods.

I actually took a moment to experiment again and I came up with a design that gives them a slizer foot jaw. I'll show the model later as right now I'm too sleepy. Good night.

That's very flattering, but don't let it hold you back. Just keep building. Practice, practice, practice, and you'll improve bit by bit. I've had time to improve. You have to spend time mocing to do the same.
