Yeah, she was pretty much just as much of a victim as the other kids. :c The only character which I have zero sympathy for is the principal.
Oh god, I'd have to say Kizami? He's just such an in-depth, and quite a tragic character. Hnnn 
But yeah, it is really hard to choose a favourite, all of them are such interesting characters! Just like SnK, really ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ

Ahh- you're not alone! I swear to god the game Fragile Dreams did to me the worst- Not many as people died in insane deaths, but each character saw so in depth it was just 'whyy; ;;-"

Even people like Morishige-which is probably my favorite- has things to back up his insanity. I mean the poor dude didn't know what to do without Mayu, yet the principal seems to just be lust and insanity.

Hhh, Fragile Dreams! I love that game. It had such an incredibly pretty art style
Near the ending, when Seto had to get up to the roof to face Shin and just the voices of everyone encouraging him and that soundtrack ugh- it had me in tears ;v;
Yeah indeed, I feel so sorry for Morishige, and he himself realised what he was doing wasn't like himself, but eventually he was just too far gone. :c
To be honest, when Kizami first appeared, I immidiately liked him because he reminded me of Garry lmfao orz But throughout the games, he really grew on me.
Yeah, lots of people misunderstand him and just label him as a psychopath, which he wasn't. This post on tumblr explains him rather well. (Just in case before I start endlessly rambling about him.

Yeah, mainly because they're both tall cute boys that offer to protect a little girl in a scary situation, but with Kizami it just kinda went the other way around... 
Yeah indeed. I think his parents are partially to blame as well. Kizami was obviously a kid who needed help, and they gave him none and just completely ignored him, and then left his older siblings to take care of him. I mean- what? cries ugh my baby ;n;

Oh my god yes- actually I think I'll rewatch Cryaotics playthrough this weekend since I got a ton of drawings to do. I've felt a bit down lately so I figured if I watched it it'd be pretty bad to watch it ya know, still, I still love the game so much and its been pretty good lately!

Actually, out of all these characters I think I sympathize with Mary a lot more. I mean she was really just put in a messed up world, I'm no sure I would wind up any better in he situation. Then again, that goes for a lot of these characters too.

CRY hhhhgsfdfdg I mean, Cry is definitely one of the best ways to cheer oneselves up! Though, maybe it's not the best idea to watch a sad LP while you're feeling down? I'm still not completely over The Walking Dead, and I watched that one ages ago.

Yeah, despite everything she did I still symapthize with her too, she's incredibly lonely and locked in a place where she can't escape from, it's an awful situation, really. The ending A Painting's Demise made her character even more heartbreaking. :c

Definitely! The best thing is, and this goes for pretty much every single character in SNK, they're human. They are relatable, and react in perfectly understanding ways given the situation they're in. I don't get how people can hate on characters that express fear.

Ahh, yeah! Commentators like Cry are so awesome! Even in sad games, he can be so comical it's awesome. Oh god- The walking dead? That ending was so sad TT^TT. Personally I didn't cry, but it really pulled at my heart. I miss Lee so badly-

You said it man- I mean there really wasn't any ways for her to turn out any differently too, it's like a world without any help. People in solitude for days for crazy, and painting or not an eternity of solitude is just horrid. I mean the ghosts in heavenly host were able experience proper socialization.
I can't agree more! I mean showing fear has given so many great characters more feeling to them, and yet they get put into corners for acting more- human- It's a bit crazy looking at it eh? I'm glad people aren't really that the same with SNK.

Cry is my favourite Let's Player. I love how he can just completely immerse himself in the story and the characters! And he doesn't talk through cutscenes.

Garry can handle these situations surprisingly well, I guess? I think at first, he'd be scared out of his mind and be convinced he won't ever make it, but, assuming he meets Yuka along the way, he gets more and more determined to actually get her back to Satoshi. And then he sticks around with the Kisaragi kids and everyone makes it back alive yeAH ヽ(；▽；)ノ God I'm just so desperate for my favourite characters finally surviving for once ha ha ah... orz
Kizami will definitely be an odd case? First of all, he won't have Shimada's knife with him, nor any of his classmates which kinda triggered his rampage. He'll be all alone with Ib, who doesn't talk much at all and is a lot less dependant than Yuka, but maybe Kizami would cling to her either way. I'm sure he'll also have the whole "We're gonna die no matter what" way of thinking, with the situation being kinda similar and all. Ah, I'm thinking WAY too hard into this.
Mary just really didn't have a single chance from the start, ugh. ;n; I guess, but they're stuck forever with the pain they felt when they were murdered. Both situations are horrible. Especially knowing they're all just kids.
Characters showing a wide variety of emotions helps driving the story forward, it's such an important aspect! And it's fun to analyze their behavior heh. Lots of people did bash Armin for 'being a crybaby'. /RAGE Though I'm pretty sure that's almost stopped completely.

Oh god yes- I mean seriously, I think the only cut screen I ever heard him was when he laughed at a cutsceen during Catherine. To be honest I did to though- I agree completely! he feels much more story inversed than a lot of commentators into stories; which is why I prefer watching him first for a lot of playthroughs.

God- seeing the motives and influences is just awesome in characters. I liked Armin the most when I first saw it, mostly because he really wasn't the guy you'd think to be able to stand any of the insanity of SNK. But he did, and he did some pretty dang smart things. Eren and Misaki wouldn't be alive without his help.

Definitely! Cry is the best Let's Player out there (as far as I know) for these types of games. Also I really love his voice and his Cry Reads video's hnnngh It really bothers me when LP'ers play a story-driven game, don't bother to read notes/pay attention through cutscenes etc. and bash the game afterwards because they didn't understand it.

Hmm, I think the roles of Ib, Mary and other characters will initially be the same. The way Ib and Mary would continue to act are then obviously influenced by Kizami since he is very different from Gar. I mean we don't even know if Kizami would pick up his rose, in the first place? Or if he'll just attack Mary if she starts bothering him??? WELP.
I know! I think the messed up-ness is a part of why we love them so much, though. ;v;

I agree! Armin is such an incredibly strong and intelligent kid, people call him useless, and yet he literally came up with very important, working plans. Though I'm kind of afraid he will eventually crack under the pressure... WE MUST PROTECT ARMIN AT ALL COSTS. (°Д°）
