I thought Corpse Bride was beautifully done...it's animation, the story and sense of morbid humor was a hoot! Sad ending for sure (poor never had her dreams of marriage & love fulfilled...) , but also very redeeming. Her tortured soul was set free. I had to hold back a little tear in my eye (OK...sometimes I'm a sentimental jerk!! I admit it!! But I'm not some heartless fiend!!! Overseers have hearts, too!)Overall, it was a very good mix of social commentary, macabre humor and whimsy!

Keep creating, dear!!! Your story could be the next big thing!!!

yes i though it was beautiful too^__^ but i dont expect any other ending then the one there was from Tim Burton. he always makes it sad in some form, i'm just glad it was not as sad as edward sisorhands...dont panick but the Countess can not spell proper english...its a tragedy.

now i really want to buy the dvd! and also everytime i see nightmare before christmas, or beetlejuice, i always want to go work with the man who made them. imagine making art that moves!!....oh and i wish picture moved and talked just like in harry potter really anything u draw comes to a sort of life!
...ok now i'm just rambling...i just woke up and have not yet had coffee.

Agree with ya, totally, Countess. And you're not ramblin', either. You have the soul of an artist. Embrace it and keep working towards any goals you have. It's not important that you reach all of them, but that you keep on dreaming, trying with heart, and moving towards your goals.
