I'm sorry for what happened to you with 'Diamond', bad criticism might kill a story and discourage a writer, it happened to me with my Mass Effect fic, it was my first attempt as a writer in my whole life.
In my case the bad critiques came from two trolls hidden behind anonymous IDs but the effect was nonetheless devastating
Anyway if it was constructive criticism from a person you respect just remember that we can't please everybody and in a total way, I hope you'll change your mind and publish it again, there are so few stories featuring Duncan, and I was planning to read yours soon :( (Sad)

On the upside, it allowed me to begin merging the Diamondverse with the rewrite of the Dutiful Daughter I planned. So Duncan/Brosca are still a go. :) (Smile)

Someone else pointed it at at AO3 and I felt horrible about it. So the Diamondverse was wiped in that incarnation.

oooooooh yes- I'm actually saving for a nice Desktop gaming rig myself *O*

I'd have to say though that a custom build is usually cheaper than buying brand name PCs-

Any of the really powerful rigs that are premade and sold in stores run around $800+ but you can make a powerful custom rig for the same price or cheaper and make it up gradable so as the games get more demanding of the system you can keep up without having to purchase a whole new pc- I know that's how I'm going, atleast ;u;

Is it too much trouble to make Mara's hair white-blonde and her eyes ice-blue, and to turn the bare legs into leggings? It's awesome as is but it would make it look just a bit closer to my vision (problem's not your fault, it's my own sorry fault for not describing her properly!)
