I am kind of in the same boat as you. Along with the motivation issue though I would say its equally about money and time as well. I have to direct the resources I have towards what has the best chance of getting some return, and sadly over the years my drawing doesn't seem like it would pay off any time soon. Speaking mainly in terms of the time spent-money earn ratio. So its been set aside as something I will work on whenever. Like all my drawing really. For now I am working with my friend in his company making youtube videos for our shared hobbies. Its a lot of fun and stands a much better chance of succeeding.Β
May seem kinda sad but I don't think it has to be. There is always going to be times I draw more and enjoy it. I encourage you to just do what feels best and brings you the most happiness in return as well. :3

But on reality, your draws are amazing, really man, if I had the skill you had, I would gladly remake all my character bustsets

Thats really kind of you my friend. You understand the difficulties of it all for sure. I never like to say with certainty that I am done with anything, because I don't know what the future holds. Sometimes a long break is needed. Maybe just slowly chip away at it here and there? Thats what I will do. Being an artist isn't easy is it? No matter what our skill levels its always a struggle one way or another. I am always happy I know peeps like you who are always supportive. I won't ever stop drawing, this much I can promise the world. I believe you will always be an artist in need of creating as well :3

hahaha XDΒ I also wish I had better skills. Even if I am happy with many of the things I have drawn, they usually take far too much effort and time to do. Its always so emotionally draining for some reason. 6/10 times I end up giving up cause what I'm drawing looks so bad.Β

Hobbies? Ah... lately I have been up to Randomizers... one almost (did) broke me last Saturday, but yeah... I guess... I keep reading, I keep watching horror movies and series, I'm using the free time as well as I can... sometimes I return to YUREI only as a form to entertain myself...
I really hope we can get out of this boat, if it sinks, it will be trouble, I'm already too tired of taking buckets of water out of it, we are going down! DOWN I say!!!
