Thanks for faving one of my happier pics.
You may be just too young to remember when Kiss brought out a comic in the 70s, and said they put their blood in the ink. (bollox!)
Shame it's a shit print, me transgender mate photoed it with his expensive camera.
Result? Bollox!

I think we've all done that. I actually put some on my big parrot commission, just for a laugh.
You spend 3 months staring at parrots, it's bound to happen. "Who's a pretty boy then!"

brings a new meaning to 'spunking a few quid on a painting'
I remeber seeing a print somewhere that went ApenISaPENisApenIS etc in different colours very warhol.
btw that Rackham print is now just above my telly. totally unrelated and nothing to do with any body parts or fluids

that's just pushed my ego through the roof
I went to the Modern yesterday. EXPOSED - really fantastic photography exhibit, disturbing and at the same time very thought provoking.
I'll apologise now for not replying with a thanks on all of them but that bit of DA mentality can drive me a bit potty.

Just wondering.. have you ever seen "Pan's Labyrinth" ??

MrSqueaks In reply to Reilune [2010-06-18 11:13:59 +0000 UTC]
i've tried to watch it a few times and never finished it
something always distracts me when i start watching it and i stop it in order to start again cleanly and next time ... bam, another distraction. once i get myself fixed i'll give it another go.
but del toro directed all 4 hellboy films so he can do no wrong in my eyes
another great film based around childhood myth is 'the company of wolves'. it gives a great twist on the little red riding hood concept. i keep going back to watch it, give it a try. it's a little dated now but still holds some power for me.
(i'm also fascinated by the whole concept of werewolves)

don't know either of those (added to my want list) ... i also want to see Wolfman too.
I really loved the Underworld trilogy (not a twilight fan though ... too mushy) and American Werewolf was a defining moment for my life and Dog Soldiers is one of the best werewolf flicks ever.
have you read 'lonely werewolf girl' by martin millar? it's a superb book

Wolfman is good
I loved the underworld movies.. not a fan of twilight myself.
I hear "Ginger Snaps" is a really good werewolf movie, I plan to watch that one sometime soon too. "Blood and Chocolate" is a really good one, I had fun watching it if you haven't seen it, I bet you'd like it ^.^
I haven't read that book, I'll write it down though and next time I'm at the book store I'll look for it.

The first season's release of 'being human' is in July, so I added it to my list ^.^
