'Fraid you must've misunderstood somethin' I said at one point or another. Anyhow. I meant to say that I have not created anything from the Cthulhu mythos. However, that doesn't mean I won't try in the near future, given the opportunity.

As of this Sunday I'll be in "my own" studio apartment, and when I am, I'll eventually hook-up my small scanner, and properly scan a few of my pictures (that'd I'd previously removed as they were poorly scanned), just to let you know! So you'll be able to see some of my artwork . . . If you're interested.

Heh. "Missing New Mexico," is something I don't know if I'll ever do. You see, I'm from Oregon, and after a few bad financial, social, emotional, etc. years, I've been forced to move back in with my folks (which I'm none the less greatful for the opportunity to do) -- now I'm a "hired hand," and I'll soon be helping out around the ranch, as I've been incorporated into the family business -- I miss Oregon though, I miss the constant rain, the coffee houses, hanging out with my friends on the streets, and all the comic-book shops!
But . . . I'll concede, the desert is beautiful here, particularly where I'm at, near the Rio Grande Gorge! And it's nice having the opportunity to visit my family down on the Isleta Pueblo, which I hadn't been able to do, tell I moved here!
If you don't mind me asking, what part of Arizona are you in?

Have you been to Albuquerque, specifically the Nob Hill area? If you're the coffee-house hang-out-in-cool-little-local-shops type, you'd probably enjoy it there (I sure did). I never thought I'd miss NM until I moved, and now it's like I crave it or something. Albuquerque had a personality to it that big cities really lack.
I'm in the middle of Phoenix, and i mean actual -Phoenix-, not one of the rich suburbs or subcities. I don't like the city, but there are more things to do here/more opportunities than there were in NM.

Yeah, I know what you mean -- myself, I'm a country-lad turned city-kid. I lived in Portland back in Oregon, and for me, it was probably like Albuquerque was (and is) for you. And I've been down to Alb., and I know where Nob Hill is, but I've never had much of an opportunity to explore it. As I'm stuck out in the middle of nowhere most of the time, near Taos, up in the far north of the state . . .
