I'm a trained cultural anthropologist and experimental archaeologist, and the bulk of my time is devoted to lecturing or writing in my field. I've spent over a decade studying the religious cultures of the Ancient Near East. Most of my art is putting that knowledge into effect, whether it's bronze jewelry and tool crafting or modernized depictions of ancient gods.
