I noticed you updated your icon to a new Locke pic. And for some reason, that put me on a Locke binge. I went and watched Millenium of the Witch and then started doodling him and looking for fanart. LOL

NICE! I found some Locke scanlations on tumblr that someone did a while back. Also, I found out there was a Locke series that was, I guess, a romance with this girl and I'm so tempted to buy it. The art looks way cute. He looks a little older it in.

Oh, ImagiNation might've done a special on that. The gal's name is Mira and the hosts said it's a love/adventure story. If you do buy it, please tell me how it turns out. And scanlations on Tumblr, you say? MUST GO LOOK! (Kermit-flails!)

It's a 7 volume series, the covers all look so cute. It's a little spendy to buy them and then ship them over here from Japan so I'm trying to decide if I want them bad enough.
If you just search Choujin Locke in tumblr, you'll probably find the scanlations. Looks like they're posted in imgur, but you can find the link easy in tumblr cuz, sadly, there's very few Locke posts on tumblr.

Found a scanlation to a volume I picked up on Amazon. I has a happy! And yes, there is far too little Locke content anywhere online. I need to get off my ass and make some fanart already.

XDDD I admit, I don't think much of Locke's fashion sense, partly because most of it would be hard to cosplay and partly because a lot of it is so Seventies, y'know? But that's just me.
It might be time for a Locke binge of my own. You know, to get into the right headspace for fanart. ^n_n^

Locke seems to have his own fashion sense. Probably a culmination of how long he's lived and how the fashions change. Now he just wears what he wants. It makes no sense. In Millennium of the Witch he has that little superman outfit with the red cape. And then that adorable and somewhat hilarious prince-type outfit he wears when he goes to see Cornelia. It is so corny and so cute at the same time.

So would I. The VCR part of my VCR/DVD player has stopped working for some reason, and I don't have any way to convert tapes to DVD. I want DVDs with Japanese language options! I'd feel better buying them legally.
(Finding fansubs is a bitch anyway.)

There's just one problem: Where're we gonna find enough fans of Locke to sign the petition? We're like the ultimate hipsters/lovers of obscure things.

Don't worry too much, since fans of old anime have been coming out of the woodwork (so to speak) for quite a while now! (at one time, I'd thought I would never see 'Arcadia of My Youth' on DVD, or see as much fanart for any Matsumoto anime anywhere....)
I guess one way to bring awareness up is to keep drawing Locke, or writing fanfiction about him (in other words, make people curious enough about him, so they start searching for info on him themselves! )
