My name is Edward,but I prefer to be called Eddie or EdI'm from a small state in the U.S. called Maryland but since I'm a working musician I travel a lot :)
I've been interested in music for all my life but I specialize in playing percussion and I specialize in drumset.....I've been playing drumset since the age of 4 (for over 15 years).
I've also just got a jump on dSLR photography.....but it's kinda tough deciding if I should spend money on a "Cheap" lens ($100-$200) or buy a new piece of drum equipment. lol

I'm left handed
I don't write sloppy for a lefty
I've been using a Mac for 3 years and I'm loving it!

I'm also listening to When Doves Cry by Alex Clare. I still like the version by Quindon Tarver the best though. What are your thoughts on it? =3

Prince's original version was good for the 80's but Quindon Tarver did it SO much better. He brought that song into the 90's. Alex Clare did it more like Prince did it, but he also made it more futuristic, throwing a bit of Tron like electronic flavoring into it.

I still prefer Prince's version it's just funkier to me and it just grooved a lot more and for the fact it didn't have a bass player in it just added "character"
Alex Clare's version was cool I liked it in fact I'm listening to it as I'm typing this.
As for Quindon's cover I think she did way too much "Vocal arobics" causing her to be pitchy in some parts of the song and it sorta took away from the song but thats just my opinion
