At the moment I don't feel like it but I can still return to Don't Starve in the future.
As I was playing it in the beta version there was a whole lot of mystery in the game that was very inspiring which is now lost.

I still find there to be a lot of mystery, I only discovered it (thanks to some friends) a few weeks ago, but the lore is still super vaugue and we've already spent a lot of time theorising and such and analyzing the characters

Been part of the devs building adventure mode as beta tester and for a while it was very different. There were pigmen fortresses and traps. They seemed to be part of a big war. The whole thing just screamed for questions.
Many of us were upset to see what it ended up to be. Because the way to the end was part of the lore instead of just plain survival. It was building up to be something big they ended up giving up on. I think this is what I miss the most.

Ahh ok, and yeah I can see why that would be discouraging.
It is nice when there's lore in the game as well as outside and you dont have to scrounge through hundreds of quotes to figure out personality. But. i still really like it.
