People have told me I'm a quick learner, but I've also worked very hard on my skills. There just was this hunger to get better everyday, and it would make me immensely happy to see even the slightest improvements.
One thing that did help me was that I watched his streams more, and drew less. Art is mostly about training your eyes, the more you watch someone draw, more quickly you'll improve. You'll start to memorize subtle but important things like- the distance between two features, the angle of lines, the thickness of lines, etc. Whenever I want drawing, I was watching him draw.
