I would love to do commissions again BUT I actually did reopen them after this big problem there
and nobody wanted anything.. they didn't like the style or blah blah so yeah nobody wants commissions from me ._.

Hey, my style changes about twice a week I reckon. For requests I do, I tend to mould my style for the character. I had to do that when I learnt the don't starve style. And man, your style is great because all of your art is great. I mean, I can't even do lineless paintings O-O

Idk why but I always try to be as nice as possible especially on DA
because there are so many artists with great talent on here that nobody
knows at all (what I think is super sad)

I feel like its because the other half of the site builds up a fanbase and constantly pushes out more and more garbage. Some people can't be bothered to wait for a good piece from a great artist. The inactivity, or long wait time of good artists is something that people need to get over. It really hurts people, I've had friends who have lost followers because of that, even though a week later they've pushed out a drawing a day and were back on schedule. I think patience is the main thing. Its probably also the fact that good artists seem to not only produce fanart, but original art too. And its obvious that people would prefer fanart to original art, unless its a webcomic with a large fanbase built up.

Ok true a lot of people just can't wait ...
I made a really stupid decision last time and I did some requests
first one then 2-3 and I ended up with 11 requests that were
in a more realistic stlye and every single picture would at least take me 5h and then
I only did the base shit like clean sketch maybe splapping some color in it so I know
where what goes and that's it ... then you get a pm every second "is it done yet"
I get that they want their art but when someone does it for free and needs a lot of time
you should't push them (well you shouldn't push anyone except you payed them and after a year
nothing happened then I get it yeah..)

True people love fanart more than original art ... I didn't get any views or subs
on YouTube until I made this one Bendy and the Ink Mashine speedpaint ... but it's not
fun to always jump on every train to get likes etc ...
This is just so hard and annoying sometimes omg xD

Yeah, that sounds like it would have been awful. Keeping up with fanart has always been hard for me, but I'm getting better at drawing the new things in the don't starve community. Fanart is fun too, so I guess its nothing much to complain about.

I like all the DS fanart and I would love to do more but
I just never find the motivation for anything anymore because
nothing works out for me when it's about art.
It's kinda depressing and tiring.

Yeah, I had that kind of feeling last year. I didn't get many artworks done at all. I found that relearning some drawing skills helped me pick up my drawing flair again, and that's why I've been uploading more. Its also good to get a friend who can support you and critique your work. I find that puts me in a better mood to draw.
