School has bore into my life as well. It's rather unpleasant, though I must admit I have made a great deal of friends at this school. So I suppose it is not so bad. Anything interesting happening with you?

Monotonous though it is, I really enjoymost of my classes. In all honesty, things have just been winding down toward winter break. Unfortunately, I have to survive mid-terms first. I have been reading Lewis Carrol's Alice books, though, and they are quite interesting indeed.

Well that is good. I haven't been doing as well this semester. I still have fair enough grades, but I am doing poorer than I started and it is, indeed, causing me stress. I'm sure you will do an exceptionally great job on your mid-terms. Lewis Carrol? I have been wanting to read her books for quite a while, haven't had the time to get around to it though. Are they good books?

His Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a lovely, fanciful book. I haven't finished Through the Looking Glass, but they both have an innocent charm and elegance that is quite a rare treasure.
With regards to school, you have my sympathy. However, it is good to hear that you have friends there, and I know how wretched it is to be alone in a horde of unkown, indifferent humans. In my experience, friends make most ordeals all the more bearable.

Yes, I have heard many versions of the story but have not ever had a chance to read the actual story itself.

There are many versions, but I recommend The Anotated Alice. It explains all sorts of refferences, has the original illustrations, and of couse has the original text.
