Hiya buddy This is interesting news if you are still into Silvermist. We've so far had 3 Tinkerbell films and the 4th one (Mysterious Winter Woods) was due in Feb 2011. This did a runner for some reason. It now appears that we have a new film announced for this Autumn, called The Pixie Hollow Games, and this will become the new 4th film. The Mysterious Winter Woods will change dates to Dec 2012, making it the 5th film.

TAG YOUR IT! Oh and believe it or not, but there is a ton of info out their about BBS. You just have to know where to look.

Cool, thanks!
I know, I already saw a bit of it on the KH Wiki, but I didn't wanna spoil the whole thing before I actually play it, or in other words, experience it firsthand so if I become a big fan of a specific character, I'll have the knowledge and details to back it up.
I'm saying this just in case you meant to reply to my current journal.

Ehehe. I assumed that you were replying to what I had said in my "Just wondering..." journal, where I said that a person can't really call themselves a fan of something/someone unless they know a significant amount about it.
You said that there is a ton of info about BBS out, but I really think that, in this case, someone can't really advertise themself as a fan of something involving BBS unless they've played it all the way through and experienced it in full.
For example, I never claimed Pokemon to be my #1 fandom until the 3rd generation/Hoenn region species were revealed, even though I've been following everything about Pokemon ever since it came to the U.S. back in '98, and I always will until the day I die. In this case, I can definitely call myself a fan.

Yes, I do. I know it's kind of sudden, but it really seems like you care about my views on judgement.

I do! I'm actually pretty happy to know that someone shares those same views; it's good to know there are people out there that don't confirm to this shallow world

That's the spirit! That's what I love to hear!
I know that judgement of appearance is supposedly "human nature" and that I'm practically "telling the wind not to blow" by being this way, but this is one thing I always stand by. If you ask me, we humans still have some evolving to do.
I even have mathematic proof that beauty is completely psychological. When we look for beauty in a person's face, we're only looking for the elements of "Phi" in their proportions. There's even a special digital face mask that was created by a plastic surgeon that can prove it.

I don't see why appearance is so important to people honestly They miss out on meeting some really sweet people out there
it even bothers me in the fictional world, how some fans like a character only for how they look and ignore any character development behind them. Then when people like us find an interesting character, we can't find any fanart of them because they aren't pretty enough!

NeoMatoxhz In reply to Aq215 [2010-04-22 04:00:33 +0000 UTC]
Yea, that's another thing that bugs me! My current journal addresses that issue in light of the new characters from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, but it can be applied to the concept of any character.
Like I said, it's basically like voting for someone without even hearing their speech. They don't listen to anything! No background info, no personality review, nothing!
Seriously, most people in groups are just brainless followers for anyone charismatic enough.

Yeah i read that, i was surprised people are fanarting them already.
I've had this problem all too much. I make my own characters, and most of my watchers will dislike them if they aren't attractive enough, and they'll like people only because they are attractive, and it drives me NUTS, because usually the less attractive ones i worked harder to develop!
Most fangirls just like the same generic character designs i'm a bit tired of

NeoMatoxhz In reply to Aq215 [2010-04-24 03:46:09 +0000 UTC]
I feel your pain. The less attractive characters actually are, or should be, the more powerful and developed ones.
I totally know what you mean! I am getting so sick of these fangirls obsessing over a guy/male char just because he looks like a 10-year old girl. It's way too un-realistic. I'm really sick of idealistic beauty too. Back in the 90's, the attractive thing for a guy to have was the big muscles and the 6-pack abs, but now, that apparently is a gay stereotype. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a homophobe or anything.

Aq215 In reply to NeoMatoxhz [2010-04-24 03:52:48 +0000 UTC]
I understand, i don't really get why the gay stereotype is so attractive anyway. Nowadays any sort of masculinity is a huge turn off to them, i don't get that at all

NeoMatoxhz In reply to Aq215 [2010-04-25 02:37:12 +0000 UTC]
Well, if you're talking in terms of fangirls being excited about gay guys, I think it might be in the same way that some guys find it hot to see two girls situated like that. But to be honest, some guys believe that fangirls love that stuff just as a wimpy form of revenge against guys that hurt them in the past. If that was true, then I say that the fangirls should learn to not go with someone that would hurt them just because they "look good".

Aq215 In reply to NeoMatoxhz [2010-04-25 02:59:23 +0000 UTC]
I can understand the first point definitely, it just makes me wonder why they have to like the 'gay stereotype' with it instead of more manly looking guys since guys prefer seeing girly girls situated like that O.o
Its true because usually better looking people have worse personalities, but nobody learns the first time to judge the personality before getting serious...they subconciously enter an abusive relationship and ignore all warnings
