So I finally watched black panther. So many of my friends... Who are black... Told me it was the best thing in the entire world. I was waiting for the right moment to watch it on a good screen. And then I watched it today... I watched it hard... I watched it carefully... It actually kind of sucked.
That script was kind of poorly written and predictable. I'm thoroughly disappointed. Thank God I didn't pay for that. I just watched it on somebody else's Netflix, lol. but battle could have been so easily avoided. I expected more. I got less. But the upside! I got to see Michael B Jordan be a villain! He's a great actor! Actually, everyone was a great actor! I have no idea why that sister has to intelligence to keep up such technology and design things from scratch. Can somebody explain that?
Why the heck is the best friend betraying everyone? And the only thing to stop him is for his wife to give him a lecture in the middle? What the heck is that? What is that?! The jokes were all so terrible. Less funny than in guardians of the Galaxy, but I have a certain sense of humor, so I can understand if other people consider guardians of the Galaxy funny while I don't. But I can verify Black panther was not that funny. What the heck?

EDIT: also, for an intelligent Society, they still have a way to so easily dethrone someone. AUGHHHHH even the queen and the uncle are so incredibly shocked when the prince was almost going to be killed. Did you never think he would be easily killed whenever there's an easy ceremony to challenge him out of the throne? Then they immediately create a rebellion because new guy is a total jerkwad? If new guy wasn't a jerkwad, you would have to accept him, you know?
I did like that they actually enforce the idea that it was completely wrong to abandon that child. If they hadn't have at least emphasized that, I would have given the movie A much lower rating.
also, the whole time they were talking about vibranium, I kept thinking that it would be funny if somebody brought it unobtainium from Avatar. There are just so many funny names of metals, LOL. People should put them all together into one movie and prove to people that metals are very very dangerous and powerful!

I liked aspects of Black Panther. Mainly I enjoyed Michael B. Jordan as the villain. I think he's the best villain they've had in the MCU since Loki in Avengers. Apart from that, I did find it sort of underwhelming. Also, the fight at the end where they both have vibranium suits really makes it difficult to feel like there are any stakes. I agree that it wasn't very funny and the script was not, like, amazing or anything.

I will draw your original character (OC), favorite fan character, you, your cat/dog, your family member, you kissing your most hated enemy because you actually have some serious sexual tension with him/her, a turtle, etc. Turtles are great to draw for Christmas!
