I think we should have stuck with the white pegasus as the White Kingdom's emblem while maintaining the black dragon as the Black Kingdom's. Both kingdoms will still maintain their coats of arms' respective color schemes (White Kingdom with white/blue and Black Kingdom with black/red).
Plus, I think Draken's wild-goose chases with Cody, the young adventurer were good ideas, but they weren't well executed. Like that time they went into a gold mine that was rumored to be the site of many disappearances, and Cody's impulses inside the mine cart endangered both of them.
