There's this thing on DeviantArt starting up called Artspacious which is basically meant to serve as a substitute and replica of the old DeviantArt site. As we all know that Eclipse sucks and it's dissapointing that they switching to it permantely, so this is the place to use to escape the frustrations of Eclipse.

Kiwi birds?
I live in a coastal town that's minutes away from the capital city (Wellington). Kiwis live in bushes and forests so seeing a real kiwi is rare in towns that are costal and fully habited, as well as cities. However there are many sancturaries that have kiwis. One sanctuary in my town do these 'kiwi night experiences' where at 6:00pm when it becomes dark you get to watch the kiwis do their usual doings in their habitat. I got to do this for my birthday last year. I got to see two kiwis sniffle around, call out to eachother, and even mate! Aparently my group was only 1% of the whole freaking world to see kiwis mate in real life!
There are also many other awesome native birds that I see everyday. Tuis, Fantails, Kererus, and Pukekos. Those are birds that you see typically during the day. And then there are Moreporks who are nocturnal like kiwis. There's been many occasions where I could hear the moreporks at night.
