Teehee! THANK YOU! Nope, I'm not being paid. However, I was told I could use them in my portfolio review at school when I have it next year, so who knows where I'll go with these things. I had an advising appointment yesterday for my Spring semester classes, and looks like I could start taking photo classes earlier than I thought. I may have my SLR by January. I'm so excited. I've miss you, deary, how have you been?!

Yours truly did make my day at the end of a very hectic week I've had. No, honestly, there's something to your pictures. The lighting, the colors. There's something like a calm, souvereign, silent beauty to them. I'm sorry, that I don't have the right words available to describe it.

Well, those words seemed to fit quite nicely, if you ask me! At least enough to put a smile on my face. Those particular photographs were all taken on a table in my bedroom against pieces of white bulletin board under a three-way bulb on it's highest wattage. I've had a collection of makeup as wide as the eye can see for years, yet never use any of it, so I thought I'd put it to good use under my camera lens instead of on my face. I'm really glad, and appreciative, that you find my work so appealing. It wasn't until August I started going to school for art, not having ever taken an art class really put me a few steps behind, I'll tell you that! I won't make it into any photography classes until next fall, however, so right now it's just learning the basics and working with materials I'm not used to using; i.e. pencils, pens, et cetera. I'm a little overwhelmed, seeing as I have a strong passion for photography, and working strictly with my hands is something I'm not entirely used to. Getting time to get my hands on my camera, it makes me want to take amazing photographs that much more, so right now, it's all about seeing what I can come up with.
