I had the idea because of your Improvement Meme. Lately I improved too, but I don't know how much. As artist I don't know where I stand, so I ask you, a more experienced drawer: If there would be, let's say, 10 ranks, which rank would you give my current art?

Hrm Well for me it's rather hard to simply scale someones skill level on a simple one to ten, because they could be strong in some points but weaker in others, and a simple number rating doesnt reflect that.

It looks like you're starting to get an understanding of shading and highlights, though i think if you studied a bit more you'd improve quickly. As of style, it just seems as if you're eye-tracing other images, and if you want to try and branch out you could start experimenting with different poses and such.There's not much else in your gallery i could comment on, but i do think that if you practice often and correctly (yes, you can practice incorrectly, which is a little counterproductive if you ask me) you could improve greatly in a short ammount of time. If you want to study humans, I suggest going from realism, into cartoon/anime, rather than in reverse. Study live models, or photographs.If you're younger than 16, I suggest going to posemaniacs.com to study different poses and perspectives, (that's how i'm practicing right now, and I really think it's helped me a lot.

Well considering the majority of the people on here are noval artists, usually young and don't know very much about proper criticism, it's not surprising that you haven't found a good one, but I assure you there are people out there more than willing to help out someone willing to improve.
