Hello. My name is cory aka Kakashi. I was recently informed of comments you made about a sasuke x sakura wedding that I was a part of.(I was the priest) I was told some of your opinions about the comedic style of the piece and decided to teach you some comedy 101.(since obviously you are incredibly ignorant on the subject) But first let me give you some of my credentials to prove my opion holds far more water than yours.
I was told that your high opinion of yourself is baised off your history in middle school and high school theatre/competitive speech. You also made the statement that you went to state. Well so did I. But the difference is that I won at state in all three events i was allowed to take.(cause the limit is three) i also gold medaled in six events most of the tournaments my Sr. year. I have also continued a career in theatre/entertainment. I have also done professional stand up, improv, and skit comedy. I have three acting/modeling agents and an extensive resume of experince in the field of entertainment of all forms.
First in improv comedy(which what the skit mostly was) there is a consept called the understood/given jokes which, to a novice comedian(not you obviously, your not quite even at that level), may seem like cheap jokes. But it is a comedic tool to satisfy the general populous of the crowd and build up to better jokes later on. they can also be built off as jumping points for later jokes. (such as the reoccurring joke which was also used).I could go on for hours about all the flaws in your opinion but quite frankly is a waste of time for me. I just wanted to give you some insight into how much of a complete imbecile you really are, and the extent of study you need to achieve before you challenge me again.
Oh and one more thing, the skit was not originally designed to be funny. It was originally funny. That was an aspect i added in as I went. So in short it was psuedo serious skit. So come back in five years with a lot more experience and i might consider your point valid.

Wooohooo, you're the one with the pedigree. I should never, EVER say anything about acting because I didn't win anything by myself or decided to make it my life's work.
It's assholes like you that really grind my gears. People who think that just because they decided to get a degree in something I enjoy that they have the right to say that my own experiences (that could be vastly different from yours, thus giving me a different insight) don't matter.
You need to learn a concept called "subjectivity." Acting is a subjective art. What one person likes, another will not. There is no "right" or "wrong," just variations in technique.
There's also something called critique. You may not understand it. See, I'm a journalism student, so I have the right to critique your performance. I don't have the right to slander you, but I do have the right to say your performance sucked, which I thought it did. I critiqued you, now you're slandering me because you didn't like what you read.
Maybe if you learned to either ignore bad critique or perhaps to take it and use it to your advantage, you'd have an easier time. Especially if you want to make acting, a subjective art, your career.

This is a mildly ok rebuttal, and some of what you said in the last half is true. Subjectively though, your case is invalid. I'll ignore the childish rant in the first part and focus on the secound.
First of all, I know very well both of the concepts you spoke of. So rest assured I have been critiqued before. But this is not a matter of critique. If this had been an actual production then you would have a point, but it wasn't. It was a group of friends putting on a rag tag show for other friends. So that doesn't make you a critic, it make you a asinine bitch.
Secondly, your word choice makes it slander. You saying I suck is just an insult. Now if this had been a full on professional production, and you had given a detailed reason that performance was sub-par while maintaining respect for the actor, I might see this differently.
Thirdly, This is slander for another reason. This had nothing to do with the quality of the performance. You slandered us because of your distaste for tamari. Thus making your opinion biest and discrediting your status as a critic.
So in summary, Just because your a journalist doesn't mean your bad mouth a event amongst friends. It is unbecoming of a professional and makes you look like an asshole.
P.S.- Usually critics are well versed in the subject they are critiquing.
