Hey Panda, you're like, artistic and stuff, right? //laughs// Well, the community I'm in on livejournal (brigits_flame) is also doing monthly art contests. It's mostly banners and icons for the community, but they don't necessarily have to be directed to the community. And if you like you could join in on the monthly writing contests. Although that's a bit stricter time-wise and I don't know if you'd have the time for it.
Anyways, if you'd like to join and do the art contest that would be awesome! There's one prompt for each month and they just posted the one for October. It's "Fail". You can post as much (or as little) art as you want over the course of the month and at the end everyone votes their favorites.
Just a thought. It would be cool to see your stuff there. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you details.

They will add you and you'll start getting the daily chatter posts and all that, and you can choose whether or not to participate in those. I think you may have just missed sign-ups for the October writing contest, but there are no sign-ups for the art contest. I'm not sure specifically how the art works (me being non-artistic like) so you'll want to talk to musicrocks987. Either message him or comment on the latest art post. He can give you details. (At least, I think musicrocks is a he. Idk) But there's a community photobucket where you post them. Check it out; [link] It's pretty cool.

Hard/Expert. I'm still learning the expert mode for the bottom half of the song list. But I can do Cliffs of Dover pretty well. I can knock them all out on hard, but still learning on expert.
