# About me

A few years ago during a trip to New Orleans I was inspired by the mystery and beauty of many of the masks I encountered in French Quarter shops. Upon my return home I decided to take it upon myself to learn the arts of leather crafting and mask making. Since then I have learned a great deal from various sources: books, magazines, internet, and most importantly from people who have much more knowledge and skill than myself. Now I endeavor to use what I have learned (and continue to learn) in the making of my own unique masks and leather work.
