Oh my god *Shot* I didn't even see that new journal!! Thank you deviantart...what is the point of watching someone if you don't get updates on them!! I am so sorry...I didn't even see that >_< All I can figure is it got lost in the mix while I was working. This is the first weekend I've had off in months and I just had this thought that there were some people I hadn't heard from in a bit and you were one of them... but now it all makes sense!!! Lol.
Gunner: *Poutes a little pinning his ears back.* Well, I'm glad Night's not dead. *glares at Kyran trying to be mad, but his ears go back jumping into Kyran's arms* I-I missed you too!

He woofed softly* I-I think you should give me a kiss to make it up to me. *He looked up giving him puppy eyes and adds a little pathetic whimper to make Kyran feel even more like giving him a little kiss.*

Gunner: *His puppy eyes widdened.* Yes I do. *His tail wagged faster when Kyran's lips touched his own whimpering softly. He pushed back into Kyran's kiss. He jumped up wrapping his legs and arms around Kyran wagging happily.* I missed you so much. *He nuzzled Kyran's cheek playfully and kissed at his neck* Y-you know summer is coming up...we should do something fun.

Yeah, it was pretty painful. I had just prepared hot chocolate for me and my friend. Then since it was too hot I put my cup on the table and as I reached for my yearbook it was knocked over.
Kyran: *He caught Gunner as he jumped up, chuckling.* I missed you too. Although, if I'm going to get so much attention when I come back maybe I should disappear more often. * He said so jokingly. He wouldn't dare leave unannounced again.* It's true and the academy is giving us a break from all assignments. We should, I'm all ears if you have any special requests.

Gunner: *he woofed and nipped Kyran's neck harshly when he joked about disappearing more often.* Nope! I forbid it! *He smiled resting his head on the other's shoulder licking where he nipped sweetly. His tail wagged quickly.* I know isn't it awesome!! I'm actually amazed their giving us the time off. *He looked at Kyran smiling.* Actually...I was thinking we could do a ghost hunt! *He chirped happily and pulled out a pamphlet holding it up for Kyran to see.* It includes a train ride to a bunch of different haunted locations and you do night time ghost tours! Even the train you go on it supposedly haunted!! *he was so excited he couldn't hide it.* what do you think? *His tail swished quickly then he was overcome with embarrassment and his ears went back a little* U-unless there's something you wanna do instead? *He played nervously with Kyran's shirt.*

Gunner: *He wrapped his arms around Kyran's neck snuggling comfortably into his arms which held him so perfectly.* I'm just glad we get time off too. It means we can spend some time with each other. *He smiled softly and woofed quietly when Kyran said it was wonderful and he touched his pinned ears. Sometimes it was hard to remember that the other cared about him and enjoyed his company.* S-sorry...I still have some bad habits...b-but I'm glad you think it's a good idea. *He smiled sheepishly, but like he was hiding something good. He reached under his sweater and pulled out a little blue document holder. He was glad Kyran was holding him so he could open it. He reached inside and pulled out two tickets holding them up.* I-I ordered them when I heard about the break. *He put the tickets to his face trying to hide his happy smile and how excited he was. He loved ghost and he loved spending time with Kyran so the thought of two of them together made him want to explode with happiness.* E-everything's taken care of...we just need to pack our bags.*He glanced up at Kyran his eyes betraying him and showing his excitement.* I even bought a book that talks about all the places were going! And I got us one of the train cars to ourselves!

He raised an eyebrow at the sight of Gunner reaching under his sweater. Kyran burst out laughing seeing Gunner pull out the tickets from a document holder.* Thinking ahead, I see. Hiding anything else under there?* He couldn't help the giant grin that appeared on his face. This little trip promised to be a lot of fun.* When does it leave? I don't want to pack at the last minute. * Gunner's excitement was contagious. Kyran couldn't wait for the trip.* Wow a train car to ourselves?

Gunner: *He sighed softly when Kyran held him tighter. It felt so perfect. It was warm and safe in Kyran's arms. It was something that up until meeting Kyran he had never experienced. His tail swished happily when he felt Kyran's lips on his head. He was so happy. Happy that Kyran was back and happy they would get to spend time together over the summer regaurdless of how. Tear's stung at his eyes.He looked a little surprised when Kyran laughed until he spoke. When those words left the other's mouth he couldn't help but smile too.* I just wanted to make sure we would be able to get in. *He laughed and nuzzled under Kyran's chin.* I might be hiding something for later. *His tone was suggestive, but he left it at that to answer Kyran's question.* It leaves in three days. *He looked down a little* T-That's why I'm your back. I-I was worried you wouldn't come back. *He felt like he wanted to cry again so he buried his face in the other's shoulder. He nodded his head.* I wanted it to be special for us and they offered whole cars or small cabins that just had beds. S-so I got us a whole car. They were nicer too...and this way we can have some privacy of we want to do more...intimate things while on the trip.

Kyran: Me? A complete butt? *He tried to look offended at the idea of being a butt. It didn't really work he cracked a smile soon after.* Awwwweeee but you gotta be nice to me. *He pouted a bit.* Gonna make me really work for it, eh?*He started to feel his shirt getting wet and felt minuscule shakes coming from the little bundle in his arms. Why is he crying? He lifted Gunner's face so they were eye to eye.* Oh sweetie, I love you too. *He wiped the tears away.* What are these for?*With the tight hug Gunner was giving him, it finally sunk in that his being gone really worried his darling. I promise to never leave without saying something to him ever again.*

His heart ached at the sight of seeing the pain his disappearance had caused Gunner. He squeezed Gunner tightly as the tears started to overflow and run down his cheeks.* I'm so sorry, sweetie. I swear I'll never leave you like that again. *He kissed him back shifting Gunner around so that Kyran could bring a hand to the wolf head and rub his ears.* How could I not love you? Gunner: *He was a little suprised to see Kyran tear up. For some reason that made him feel like Kyran wasn't lying to him and that how he felt meant something to the shifter.He sniffled slightly into their kiss. He moaned a little feeling the touch on his ears pulling back a little. Two tiny hand cupped Kyran's face leaning back in and licking up the tears still hanging on the others cheeks.* I- I don't even want to be rid of you. Never. *He sniffed taking a deep breath to calm himself a little kissing Kyran again.* I'm so glad your back. *he whispered.* I wanna be with for a long time.*He snuggled back into Kyran's shoulder.* your my m...*he stopped himself. He was about to say that Kyran was his mate or that's what he felt Kyran was. That's what he wanted, but he would keep it too himself since he didn't want to freak Kyran out. He wasn't sure shape shifters had mates and they hadn't been together very long even though werewolves and wolves in general could find mates in a very short time. He was not gonna run Kyran off by saying something that creepy* U-um Kyran...l-let's...*his cheeks tinted red a little. He wanted to be one with Kyran, but he felt odd asking for sex so he whispered it quietly and without looking at Kyran directly.* Can we go someplace private a-and m-make love. I want to feel you. *he held onto Kyran desperately.*

Kyran:  *His eyebrows shot up with surprise. Mate... well I wasn't expecting that. He rolled the word around in his head a bit seeing how it made him feel. It was odd to think about being Gunner's mate but it wasn't unpleasant.* Yes it is a little strange. Honestly I never thought about it, I don't usually listen to my more animalistic instincts. But I know your the one for me, if that makes you my mate and I yours then that's that.*He put his fingers under Gunner's chin lifting his face so that the other boy could meet his eyes.* Never be afraid to tell me what your thinking, k? * He gave him a soft kiss.* Perfect. * He shifted Gunner onto his back "piggy back style" and started walking towards his dorm.* It probably smells a bit more dog-like because of my familiar. But don't worry I think you'll like the smell, it's very natury.

Gunner: *Regret started to well up inside him when he saw Kyran's reaction to his words. He thought he had said too much and it got worse when Kyran said it did sound weird. His ear's went back a little, but they perked back up as he continued to talk. He smiled softly and he willingly allowed Kyran to switch him around to his back. He snuggled down against Kyran's back gripping the other's shoulder's softly.* Mmm I love you. You're the only one for me too. *He nuzzled against the shifter's back more letting his eyes fall shut and just taking in the warmth and smell coming from Kyran.* Sorry about using the mate word though...unfortunately in heart and body I'm a wolf...a-and we find mates...especially when you have a higher rank like me.*He sighed happily and moved his arms around Kyran's shoulder's kissing his cheek sweetly.* But as long as we're together whatever you want to call us is fine with me. *he snuggled back into Kyran shoulder woofing happily. As Kyran walked to his dorm room the small werewolf's tail swished back and forth happily.* That's okay I like dogs...and I'll like it just cause you'll be there.* His grip on the fabric on Kyran's shirt as he thought about being without him. He just wanted to be close to the other; to smell him, to feel him and to be near him meant more then Kyran could have imagined at the moment. He would never admit to this to Kyran but he had been sleeping cuddled up with the blanket they had first made love on while Kyran was gone. It was the only thing he had other then Val that reminded him of Kyran and that had his smell and feel. He was so glad his shifter was back and he couldn't wait til they were alone.*
