The more paleo-orientated (rather art-orientated) people I meet, the more people I have to discuss things with. It's quite nice, as I'm sure you know.

I do know. I guess that is the community part of DA being an art community. We all have our little niches.
What I like about the art side is that there are always brilliant artists which makes me want to strive to be better. And my motto, at least that is what it seems to be more and more, is "standing still is death".

Ah. I haven't much had the time to observe (most of the extinct creatures that interest me are deceptively elusive), but I do think. I suppose that is why I am a better writer than anything, however I do hope to match it with visual work soon. Ironic that it is imagery that I can simulate with my writing.
I've taken many things that I see for granted, I suppose that is why I took such a long time staring into my hand to replicate it, with mixed success, expected, though, of a novice in human form.
I applaud your support, I hope you have not been barraged with self-indulgence on my part.
