I LOVE the new look, even their normal non-chibi proportions (shown in the latest journal on *PeachSeas ) I've got the acrylic charms in of the first 5 designs that I'll be selling, but other than that going for T-Shirts next and moving onto things like stickers, posters, and hopefully hand painted sculptures. I already have 30 Fruit Drellies planned (omg wait until you see the grapes and pineapple!) and after that a few more stores within Peach Seas featuring other types of characters, but I don't wanna give too much away when I'm so far from having them ready lol.

Thanks dude! I love my hair! blonde on top, very dark if not black on the bottom. As soon as I find a new job that allows me to have colors in my hair, I'll be adding a vibrant hot pink section. :3 I miss my pink hair!

That will look awesome. Multi-coloured hair is brilliant. (And by that I don't mean rainbow coloured, I just mean having more than two colours.)

I always wanted to try having red hair, but it doesn't suit my skintone at all, so i'm sticking to my natural hair colour for now. For a while my hair was white, and I loved it!

ooooo white hair, that is what mine is closer to now, though I'm debating taking the top to a more full white look rather than just a white blonde o_O

maybe you could do just a red cluster of hair and it wouldn't be too jarring with your skin tone?

I'd say leave it more of a white blonde, pure white washes out the face, and looks dull and grey after a little while.

I was considering it, but i've decided against it just for now, when i'm trying to get a job in a kindergarten. Maybe when I go to uni i'll try it out. ^_^

Yup! I actually haven't put any stuff on here, I'm so self conscious about my art that I find the idea of actually putting my artwork on the internet rather daunting. However, You're right, I should put my own work on here, not just gifts and commissions, so i'll put some pieces up tomorrow. <3

It's tomorrow. ^_^ I can understand people (you) being nervous about posting art as it's judged rather quickly. I do it for fun and could care less most of the time what people think. I get the art to a place where I'm happy and finish it up then call it quits. Some things I post and somethings I don't.

It's now 4 days past tomorrow. xD I totally forgot about putting my stuff up, how lame.
I suppose the reason i find it especially daunting is the fact that i'm not confident enough in my work. I'm told i'm good by my friends, and my new art teacher, but at my last school, the art teacher basically told me I had no talent and should drop art. He depreciated my self confidence a fair bit.
But maybe it's important for me to post my stuff for that very reason, because if i don't, i'll probably regret it for years.
Aaaaand apparently I waffle. A lot. Sorry about that. xD

Just because one art teacher (oddly enough I'm an art teacher too) doesn't dig your stuff doesn't mean that you suck. Art takes practice... did you just instantly know how to read? NO, I think not.

You had to learn your ABC's and simple words before you got to the complex ones. It's sorta like that with art. You work and develop your skills and get better. I understand that you're scared to share your doodles, as I was a long time ago too.

It's a personal choice to post your stuff on the net for people to see. If you want to do so that's fine and if not that's also fine. People have many different thoughts... don't let one art teacher get you down when there could be more who can help lift you up.

I agree with you, It's totally logical, unfortunately when it comes to the battle between my logical thinking and instinctive reactions, my instincts get the better of me.

I probably will put stuff up in the next month or so, but first I have to concentrate on getting the grades I want in art at college.
I also find that i dislike the idea of doing commissions, as if I don't create art purely to portray my own ideas, i find myself feeling dissatisfied with the end product. Gifts, however, are far more rewarding, I find.

I teach 3rd through 7th graders art so lots of things... example: 3rd is making Greek vases, 4th fruit still life, 5th radial design mandalas using cool/warm color theory, 6th is cartooning, and 7th is paper mache'n cultural based projects.

I've noticed that no matter what with commish's I'm typically slow and not on top of them that fast. I prefer to find simple contests that I like and make art that way... or gift arts as well. It's easier. I doodle for pleasure and not for gain. It's a stress reducer that makes me all happy to see how I approach personal problems and finding creative solutions.

I'll go look to see if you finally put some art up... it appears that you sent this msg in Nov... which means TONS of time has passed. When I'm not in an art mood I go ghosty, but I always come back. Sorry about the delay with rsvp'n.
