But then Mum fucked up and lost us both, so it sucks to be her.

She's a very lucky girl, having you there for her. Most sisters don't give a shit about each other unless it benefits them.

I'll admit i used to hate my sister. I used to get moody with her all the time and would ignore her for a majority of the time. The main reason for this was because my parents would give her more attention (later found out that this was due to her having possible autism, but it still hurt me) , and i'm not exactly one for attention, but it would bring me down seeing one of my siblings being favored. As the years went by, i started to realize that i used to be the one getting the spotlight, and my brothers the ones who had to suffer, so  i grit my teeth and started to try and bond with her. It's taken up until now for us to really be civil with each other, i still get moody with her every now and then, but what sisters don't? Anyway, my parents are 'proud' of me because i've given her a chance, and made her life just that little bit better.

Because that was totally something you needed to know.
