I agree, same for me.  I always say that writing is my emotional outlet.  Though sometimes I do find that things hurt so badly or confuse me so much I can't even write about them.  *sigh*

When I get like that, I head straight to allegory. I find that often, metaphor tells a truer story, when the literal hasn't a clue.

The goal of Free Slenderman is to overcome fear and differences for the greater good of humanity.

The entity "Slenderman" represents the demon within us, this entity we have become for the sake of social acceptance. He is a symbol for what we fear, a lack of value and purpose. We fear him because we have sacrificed our identity to a broken system. We refuse to be afraid anymore, as Free Slenderman we embrace our fears and overcome them for the sake of society and love.
