Under the tree was a fairly large package wrapped up in red wrapping paper with a black bow on top. A tag on it read 'to Nolan, from Adelaide,' written in cursive. Inside were a few things. The first was a package of bass guitar picks that she thought might come in handy for him. The second was a Superman hoodie, kind of like this: [link] And the last was a stack of mix tapes she had made for him that included not only her favorite songs, but some of the songs she had written herself.

Nolan saw the package under the tree and picked it up, grinning. He opened it up and he loved everything. He'd been needing some new picks because he had a terrible habit of losing his a lot. And oh lord, he loved the hoodie. He was probably going to wear that thing until it started falling apart or falling off of him 8'l

The tapes got him the most though. He was going to have to listen to those constantly. He was also very flattered that she'd put some of her own songs on there. He was pretty sure he would love all of them.

This was the best Christmas yet.
