Yep, both Historical and fantasy armors (as long as they are practical and believable).

"practical and believable"??

I know, i myself don't understand those 3-feet thick armours myself either

yeah xD, with giant shoulders of doom with gold heavy lion heads on each part. Carrying a 7 meters long and 1 inch sword as if it was a feather.

i am pretty sure an 1 inch sword is pretty light

!!

well; anything that can get the slicing done; i guess?

a nice sharpened sword or saber will do the job, if the opponent is wearing plate armor and chainmail, then you will need a mace or a knife. Swords will not be effective unless you luckily hit his face.

or just cook him inside the can with fiiiiiiiiiiiiiire

I am sure there are other weak spots other than the face/eyes.

But then again, plates are designed to be as sword proof as it could get in the first place too bad though arrows are still superior (but i guess it's in a way visually pleasing to be killed by an arrow than being sliced in half or have your head blown open by maces )

Yeah, Greek fire is hell of a weapon against anything.
weak spots besides the face: behind the legs, the armpits. breaking their fingers. but if they have chainmail on those areas, its going to be a LOT harder...but not impossible.

and yeah, archers were hated by the enemy back then, especially crossbowmen. if they were captured in battle, they expect no mercy.

lol!, i'll rather get my head cut off or blown off than getting hit by an arrow or crossbow bolt, they where nasty business to take them out.

i am not sure just breaking their hands is effective against them in the long run if they can just kick you into oblivion: it's just a flesh wound!

And I am not really talking about real life scenarios only when it comes to drawing them and presentations drawing someone having their face smashed by a mace wouldn't be a nice scene to look at [like this one: [link] eventhough the only visible "dead knight" is almost all the way in the background ]

He's from an English show, Top Gear on the BBC channel. I think they stopped making it, due to it being really old now.

And you're very welcome for the watch!~

I live a little bit above 500 ft up on this big hill, and it's not only colder but it's also got a better view and quite a bit more evergreen trees.. This hill has many places to take good pictures. ^^ <3

We have the subtropical rainforests where I live.. well.. farther north AND farther south. they're just.. cold rainforests.. quite a bit different from tropical forests though.
