Hey,

I've been living at a group home in Methuen.

It's been a rollercoaster ride but I'm feeling a bit better overall. Changing the ways I think about things has been key - finding the silver lining in a cloud or realizing some possible meaning in an event. I've found that the only way I can tolerate living is by focusing on one day at a time. Thinking into the future only gives pain, at least where I am right now. Ironically, this will help in the long run as I can actually do something with my day instead of stressing. People criticize me for not making plans (specifically for going to college), but I HAVE to move at my own pace. My way or the grave.

I've been getting exercise everyday, managing my own appointments, learning to drive, learning to cook (kind of ), and continuing to read and learn. I'm also volunteering off and on for a nearby hospital and doing surveys for a community improvement organization. Everything at my own (very slow) pace, of course. I got my ears pierced last week.

Jian-Marie has been instrumental in maintaining my self-esteem and pushing me to do new things. She just got out of the hospital last week and has made a pretty rocky start... freaking out, getting drunk, going back to her (abusive) boyfriend and whatnot. It's tough on me; I have to remind myself that in the end, I did (and am doing) everything possible to help. That will have to suffice, whether she improves or keeps going to shit.

sounds like your life is moving forward positively, i make plans, but i've gotten better at changing them, oooooo.... driving, lucky, i'm still having seizures, cooking is good though, i've gotten better useing one hand for everything, i can boil some mean water, it's my specialty, impresses the girls, lol, just kidding, for the most part i do meats potatoes and pasta, learning new recipes though, yay stirfry,

i'm not doing much in the way of a job yet, maybe this summer, i'm graduating in 2010, i love my school, senior year i can take some college courses, all A's and a B+ right now , i'm happy with myself,

pierced ears? my studs came out last thursday, yesterday i got some sexy small hoops,

it's good that you're helping jian-marie i've gotten caught up in helping my suicidal friends, the count right now is 4, but they're better now, one of my friends from school is an official suicidal counciler, has a pager, he's 16, and hot, son of a bitch, he's got it all.

this is gonna be random... uh... deal with it. I know I grew into an ass towards our later days at Westborough. Thinking back on the kickass rapport replete with philosophical conversation, I regret it. No excuse, just that I was stressed about my future (which was obviously nil at that time). Maybe we can hang out sometime in the future. When I get a car. Someday. When I get a job, and, you know, money.

That is one of my favorite songs by them, it's on the album Once I just happen to own that album. They're an amazing band.

The CD you sent me was blank, but I went ahead and downloaded the Tool discography(every song by them) via BitTorrent and The Pirate Bay.

I did like it though.
