Do you really not know what internationalism is? From Wikipedia: "a political principle which transcends nationalism and advocates a greater political or economic cooperation among nations and people." Not "taking over the world and forcing everyone to submit to a tyrannical dictatorship". If you knew anything about Marxism-Leninism, you'd know that we support the right of nations to self-determination, meaning we think it's wrong to force socialism on other countries that don't want it. But clearly you've read so little about communism that you're utterly clueless as to the basic principles of our ideology - which doesn't surprise me at all.

First off, WOW I did not expect a response, Second, I'm doing fine. Third, right now I'm in a bit of a writers block, i'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to write about next, but I think I do have a story in the making. Thanks for your response. Communism. I disagree with the violent and totalitarian nature of regimes such as Stalin's and Castro's, and I don't fit squarely into any particular sub-category of communist (Marxist-Leninist/Trotskyist/etc), which I suppose is quite unconventional, but oh well. How about you?

I respect property rights but the government should redistribute profits and wealth to guarantee all people healthcare, education, basic income, etc. I don't see communism as evil and its an often misunderstood philosophy.

I respect personal property rights but not private property rights. And yes, communism is very misunderstood; I was always told that it was bad without being told why, and initially I just accepted it and didn't think much about it, but when I started researching political ideologies I realised communism isn't the horrible totalitarian cult it's demonised as.

I personally don't see anything wrong if someone wants to sell a luxury for profit, such as owning a coffee shop and perhaps hiring a cashier and a few baristas. As long as contracts are consensual, and there is no environmental destruction or other criminal activities I fail to see, I don't see the predicament. As long as the rich pay most taxes to provide shelter, healthcare, etc. of course.

I think capitalism in all its forms needs to be eliminated to have a truly free and fair society. If companies are allowed to exist, the nature of capitalism means whichever companies are able to make the most profit will win out, and more often than not the methods chosen to increase profit include worker exploitation, environmental destruction, lowering the quality of products, and constant advertising (which has harmful effects on people's attitudes and beliefs since we're constantly bombarded with it). There is nothing wrong with someone owning a coffee shop and making consensual employment contracts without damaging the environment or treating the employees unfairly, but if another coffee shop opens across the street that does engage in actions that damage the environment or are unfair to employees, they will be able to sell their products more cheaply and will therefore put the more ethical coffee shop out of business. Capitalism is pure "survival of the fittest" and rewards people and businesses that do dishonest and harmful things as long as they manage to make money out of it - and even if it's regulated, people will always be determined to find ways round those regulations (tax evasion is a good example). That's the main reason why I believe it's a fundamentally flawed system (I've got a lot of other reasons too, but I won't go into those now). I don't assert these ideas as something of which I'm absolutely certain and I'm definitely still learning, but these are the conclusions I've reached so far about the capitalist system.

Isn't that why we have government regulations? Can't consumers play some role in challenging corrupt enterprises? I still see the relationship between an employee and employer as one of the several options for participation in the economy.
I would be open to cooperatives and/or state-owned enterprises for large scale things like the energy sector while small-scale entrepreneurship is allowed to continue.

Companies that don't follow those regulations will get tax penalties or have their property confiscated. It's a matter of enforcing them which makes me wish Bernie Sanders won.
My ideal economy is a more green combination of the current Chinese economy and tbe Scandinavian economy. A planned economy with some free market elements where no harm is found.
