I've noticed when I write about your work I use the word "remind" a lot. Your work reminds me of so many things - art, objects, Egyptian Sun-Gods (Haha!), but it's always very fresh to the eye. It's nothing I've seen before, but it conjures up memories... Very individual, but inviting. It offers audience participation, which is hard to do with painting I think.

Lovely.

"Self-Proclaimed Genius" - I'm not being big-headed, but sometimes I think that of myself. But I know I'm not really, but I think I can be, in the future maybe...

Do you think all artists think of themselves as such? Afterall, there's so much freedom in art available now, so artists must only do certain things becasue they truely believe in them, that they think "this is the best", yeah? Because they can do anything they want now, so they choose the thing/style they think is the greatest... I don't know...

In Ramadan, its tradition to hold a lantern and awaken the neighboorhood to the Souhoor meal so that they can fast the morning after! help light the lanterns So that when Ramadan comes, the whole DA neighboorhood will be lit with beautiful bright colors!
