Greetings from the land of guesswork!This is a collaboration between me and my gf...slash, me and my bf, depending on who is logged on, oh and our friend who doesn't know we're doing this but will soon become involved again when he finds out how awesome it is. =p
One of us (the guy) is an attempted writer and the other (the girl) is an amazing artist ^.^
The writer and the friend (also an awesome writer) decided to pen a fantasy novel a little time ago and it flopped. But the idea was pretty sound and the writer couldn't help coming back to it later and trying to revive it. By this time he'd finally got his finger out and ensnared himself in the magical, scary, slightly sticky flytrap that is a relationship. Anyway, the girl decided to indulge the guy's geeky side and before they knew it, they had both been transported to the weird and horribly grown up world of a proper project.
The idea is to try and do a whole/half/a bit of a Novic (no idea if there's a real word for it...?), that's to say, part novel, part comic, with sections of both as well as some cross-over sections.
Most of the draft is written out and we have some shiny new comic pages (very exciting!) as well.
We have absolutely no idea if it's gonna go anywhere or even reach a stage that resembles a half finished project but we thought that maybe some feedback might help, or at best get us to stop before we accidentally hurt someone or ourselves.
Please, please, PLEASE comment on anything that we post (might not be that much of it tbh as we work slowly.) and let us know of any criticisms, advice or, dare I say it, flattery (ain't too proud to beg) that you can.
