I'm devoted to manga and aiming for authentic Japanese manga feel with my drawings. I'm not really aiming for becoming mangaka though, so drawing is mostly just a hobby for me.

Some years ago your tutorials, especially one, really helped me through a crisis with perspective.
I am working on a YT tutorial about perspective right now and want to mention this experience of enlightment at one point. I would like to have a screenvideo quickly scrolling over your tutorial as an animation in my video. Not to use it in any way for explaining, only showing it maybe 2 seconds. I will give a link to your tutorial here on DA in my video/in the description.
If you don't like me to show that footage, I will keep it with simply mentioning your tutorial, using no visual support.

It's been fun to work as an architect. I'm in a small bureau and I have a lot of responsibility, but I also get to work on wide variety of projects.
Β I don't have much of time or drive to draw, so I don't think I'll have enough ambition to make an actual story.Β For now I focus on drawing pics that just give an impression of larger story.

Sometimes creating those snippets of the world and characters you want to create is all you need to make it feel real for you.
I don't have much time either so it's always a battle.
Maybe one day I'll work part time so I can do both

There were two reasons I went for architecture. First was that I didn't believe that I would be especially successful as an artist (profit-wise) so architecture is financially more stable choice. Second was that architecture overlaps a lot with art, so I can utilize many of the same concepts both in art and architecture. I'm very satisfied with my choice

Yeah, you have swamps, I went to some swamp too not that far away. The swamps in Iceland are pretty different, most of them are stealth swamps, you're just walking and the landscape looks the same for miles, then all of a sudden your foot sinks half a meter into the ground out of nowhere. The vegetation above the swamp I saw in finland looked different than where the swamp was not. It was interesting, and I'm amazed someone went through the effort to build a bridge over the humongous damn thing.
After going to finland I have a new most hated insect species too, nasty little biters, I think you guys called them barma or something, no idea what they are in english, but holy fucking shit these little assholes bite! Whole fucking chunk gone off my foot out of nowhere.
