Did you enjoy Zoro vs. Erza? I didn't...I felt like it was biased towards the pirate. They nerfed Erza so much...for one thing, she wasn't bullet-speed. They also didn't mention the time that she went up against Ajeel and won even though he could tank attacks from Natsu who could topple giants.

Zoro vs Erza for me was a 50/50 outcome in my mind. Zoro had Erza surpassed in brute strength, and Erza had Zoro beat in versatility.
What the battle came down to in the end, was training. And it was something that I hadn't considered in the past. Zoro trains practically every day that he isn't recovering from 'should be freakin fatal' wounds. Erza on the other hand, is the opposite. I think she barely ever trained either in the anime, or the manga.
While Erza did have the versatility, Zoro had the experience. And I think it's what gave him the edge in the end.

And Erza isn't? When Fairy tail was attacked, she took a giant laser to the face to protect it. In the grand magic games, she took on all 100 monsters, even though she could have done a lesser number, and still gotten a confirmed victory.
