Bit heartbroken over the attacks, but hopeful that we can overcome the threat. Absolutely devastating that the US now must stop taking in refugees trying to flee the same attacks we fear might come from terrorists hiding amongst the refugees. Lose-lose situation.

Me too. And it looks like things will get worse, before they get better - on a lot of fronts. No, I disagree!
Needless to say, our American politicians are wasting no time in making a "political football" out of the issue. Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! We'll see if Congress does actually pass legislation restricting admittance of Syrian refugees. If they do, the President could always veto the bill. The question then would be whether there are sufficient votes in Congress to override his veto. Somehow, I doubt that. . .
The good news is the state Governors do not have the Constitutional authority to "reject" refugees once they are admitted by the US immigration bureaucracy.
So cheer up, dear. Things aren't quite as bad as they seem. :) (Smile)

Usually just the really tedious jobs like sewing 500 yards of tutu material in lines to make the ballet tutus. But I pick up a lot of the skills like stage make up for monsters! I really like making monster make up. :D (Big Grin)

None I've taken photos in but I do do some for fun often. I will try to do something fun in the make up department and take some shots. I am better with monster/alternative make up than just normal everyday make up! I'd rather be a marionette or werewolf than a person!
