May I ask what kind of stencil transfer lotion do you use? I really wanted to buy professional lotion but teeny-tiny bottle is horribly expensive, so I decided to buy something that I've heard works just as well... USG gel ;> you should see the face of lady from my pharmacy when I said "I need usg gel, biggest vaseline container you have and latex gloves... preferably black..."
I need to find a butcher in my town who will sell me pig skin and try it as well, but obliviously very big flaw is the smell and that you have to throw it away the same day.

Personally I buy equipments on the very nice website called "killer ink", that's a britain shop, their products are for all budgets and the quality is awesome even if you choose first price products!

Yeah, x) but if you explain that it's for tattoo use, they are less shocked xD Normally, the butcher will give you the skin free of charge ^^ and after you have cut it in pieces you can freeze it, and thaw it when you want tattooed! You can keep the skin one day without bad smells ^^
Stencil transfer is more difficult on pig skin than human skin, you must wait that the skin be totally thaw and dry enough ^^ (clean it well if the skin is oily, and it's possible that the skin have stretch marks, ink doesn't penetrate in these area so choose your pieces of skin) use gloves and let's go
