Thank you. c: You're probably the first that's noticed I've changed it in like a couple months. I think it's more than just my DARPG behavior, it's my RL behavior towards dogs as well.
I'm actually very happy to say that Juniper is doing fantastic, no (fantastic doesn't even suffice) Fantabulous with her training. I got home after two months and she hadn't been walked or played with. Day 1 I took her out to walk with the prong and she just wasn't minding it at all, which was odd seeing as it was one of the best tools I'd used on her. I switched to the halter Day 2 and she minded it right out the door for some reason. It used to be the other way around, but I guess the prong is better for other situations. I just wanted to mention that because it does go along with my other training. I wouldn't use the prong if it wasn't needed, and when it wasn't I switched to the halter. c: I tried no pulling things out of my ass as far as information goes, but rather update with personal tactics and beliefs.
On another note, I just finally ordered my ecollar *dances* I'll probably start working with June the day I get it with recall and after a good week or two go down the street to the park on a long line. c: Eventually to the beach and local state parks (she didn't need anything Hiking because I trained her in proximity (to stay close but allowed to wander) but I can't do that here in the city)).

I'm sure you know this but a personal suggestion- I find having the dog wear the collar for about a week before you start using it works wonders. Then they are less likely to realize the shock is from the collar. If they know it's from the collar, most dogs run the day you try and not use the collar (I have seen this so many times)

I was thinking about it, but she doesn't take corrections as negatively as other dogs may because of her weight and strength, that was the reason I'd ordered it in the first place (along with better offleash recall). If I had to slip it over her head it would be a different story, but as soon as she sees the leash she doesn't really care what's being put on, she sits down and sits still until it's on. x) But I'll still wait a week.

Thank you, she's my best friend. I've been trying not to think about her -haven't been away from her for more than a week and I've been gone for very close to to months. I facetimed my mother and her the first few weeks and it just tore me to shreds because everytime I spoke she would start looking around and crying trying to find me. ;-; One more week.
