I agree its a shame there isn't more people aware of the series it really does not in my opinion get the credit it deserves it should have an anime and manga and more games ya know? As for project X zone I bought that as soon as I could collectors edition and everything XD and soma's unit is probably in my top three strongest still haven't had a chance to sit down and finish it I think I'm within the last few chapters didn't realize it went past 30 chapters @_@ but i'm not complaining its such a great game and having all the different character interact with each other is easily my favorite part

Yeah, and I'm not sure God Eater 2 is coming out here in the US, I was looking forward to those DLC Gintama costumes too.

God Eater actually has a prequel anime as well as a manga in Japan. Maybe its just me but I'd sort of fear if God Eater was a dubbed anime and manga in the US since it feels like that much in its franchise would give it too much a mixed fanbase like Naruto or Bleach.

And same here, I pre-ordered the collector's edition of Project X Zone, I'd actually know well how to time their moves for criticals too. It's almost like popular gaming franchises into a twist on the Fire Emblem game.

Maybe if we are lucky we will one day be graced with god eater 2 in the US XD I know what you mean about the mixed fanbase but the fact that we basically get nothing else god eater here kills me guess I should be used to it though japan always keeps the best stuff for themselves :/ and yea project X zone rocks I was so happy when they said it was getting released here because it was just something that was unique and im all for supporting japan oriented games so maybe we can start getting more games they wouldn't normally release here in the US

Yep, I've been playing a share of import games from Japan anyway, you're able to as well with the Region-free capabilities on any PSP sold in the world. I actually got a Japanese PS2 game to play some import games I missed out on(sadly even Japanese import PS2 games straight from Japan are quite as much as PS3 game

May I ask if you're into Gundam, Bleach, or older Toonami stuff dating to the 90s and later?

Can't say i'm the biggest Gundam fan out there It was one of those things were I watched it when it was on and I respect what it did for the industry and all but I never got deep into it probably because my mind was so fascinated with Dragon ball Z, Yu Yu hakusho, cowboy bebop,Android kikaider, and inuyasha so to answer your question sir yes I was without a doubt apart of that movement and grew up on those fantastic anime and toonami XD bleach is good too I'm not the most die hard fan you will ever meet but I keep up with it and can hold a conversation about it no doubt and I respect its position as one of the big 3 of this generation

Its fine, not everyone likes the same thing, but I do, to an extent. But speaking of Bleach, I'm cosplaying Hitsugaya this year, yet another white-haired hero, which would also be cool if I could ever meet up with you at a convention to see how you pulled off your Soma cosplay lol and speaking of God Eater, my friend was actually cosplaying Shio, which was saying a lot knowing there's not a lot who'd know of the game.

So just wondering, but which Soma were you cosplaying? God Eater Burst? Or God Eater 2 version of Soma?

Hitsugaya is cool one of the better characters out of bleach in my opinion but u didnt tell me what side of the country you are on? and yeah that's cool about the shio cosplay we need more god eater cosplayers and as for the version im cosplaying I chose the first one idk maybe its just me but the first one seems to have a more iconic feel the clothes without a doubt a big help with that and the simple fact is I have never played the second one so not enough exposure to it to really embrace it ya know?

Yeah, and actually, my first cosplay was Kato from the recent Green Hornet movie, my second is Soma, and my third will be Hitsugaya.

Pardon me, I actually live in the U.S. too. I live states closer than you think XD

Indeed, the fact that it was his same outfit that he had in Project X Zone, it just adds to awareness to both people who either played just God Eater Burst or Project X Zone.

So what other games do you play? Are you into anything in the Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts universe? Possibly Resident Evil or anything else Capcom even? And what about any Namco-Bandai-related game?

Green hornet is cool yeah original soma outfit all the way lol and best of luck with your Hitsugaya cosplay the wig might be a nightmare @_@ unless it comes semi set up then you'r solid my first cosplay was L from Death note it was easy and cheap cost wise but still a super iconic character  because that was when I first started and I wanted to see if I was going to get invested in cosplay and all that my second cosplay is Neku from the world ends with you video game( if you haven't played this I implore you to buy it it's a must one of the best handheld games ever made XD) neku was without a doubt more difficult I was able to buy the costume but I had to make the shoes since they didn't carry my size lol but ironically the ones I made came out better I had to make the headphones myself as well and they are real to so heck yeah!had to get help styling the wig and made his mp3 myself it was just a lot of work but it came out great I was a hit at Megacon last year and all was well lol my third cosplay is Dr. Stein from soul eater which is without a doubt my most iconic cosplay I go to all the cons within the area and everybody recognizes me as stein now my cosplay of him was a tad easier than neku I made the screw and his shoes (no cosplay site ever has my size so I end up making most of my shoes >:[ because i'm so tall ) and I made his prop death scythe which made me not be able to barley take a step at mega last year because everyone bombarded me with about getting a picture XD but i'm hoping my soma cosplay will be my biggest yet ya know I know it has the potential to be the best but so much issues with it make my head spin with making the armlet getting the sword getting the wig in time all that yada but im hopeful that it can top my stein with soma if I can just get it done as for what other games I play a lot of jrpgs and fighting games like tekken and street fighter and soul calibur I also really like devil may cry series beside those categories I like playing anime games like dbz and naruto and of course I like nintendo games too like zelda and mario Ive been playing a lot of handheld games for a while too like pokemon and fire emblem are stand outs as some of my favs just whatever happens to catch my attention I pretty much play not much of a fps player though :/ unless its something unique like bioshock or something buy yeah im all over the place XD

Yeah, some people I talked it with were a fan of the comic or old TV series. 

And yes, my Hitsugaya wig was actually pre-styled and spiked. Saves me the time, and I didn't know wigs of specifically spiked hair arrive as such. 

Yep, L is an easy one, I used to be big into Death Note myself. 

How much did your God Arc run you again on spending? Think it'll be super-good quality for what you're paying?

And how's the creation process on the God Arc armlet?

I hope the god arc is of good quality fingers crossed that it is there's not much I can do at this point even if its not the greatest anyway :/ the fact is I need a god arc for Megacon and there's no way I could ever construct that by myself at least for good quality that is which is what I want ya know but Ill keep ya posted on how it turns out as for the creation process it's.....going ok XD working on it slowly so it turns out decent the only issue i'm having is figuring out how to get the irregular circle shape but it'll all work out I started cutting the pieces out and have it so my wrist can go through but i'm having trouble with the inside being able to keep the god arc in place X[ like where my wrist goes what can I put on the inside to keep it steady? any suggestions?

You know, it's not much a prop but you can take a purple drink can to reference that drink that Sakaki made that your character gives to Ren.

So which color scheme did you choose? The black and yellow-ish scheme? Or the blue one?

And for the armlet, you could put it face down flat on a flat, workable surface with your hand keeping it still and in place while cutting, just work slow on that part to avoid sudden mishaps.

So hey, you aren't the only one with prop-making priorities. If you know of Hitsugaya's zanpakuto, its shikai form has a chain with a moon-shaped blade attached to it, I'm making it since they don't sell a shikai version of his sword. I'm halfway there since I got a wooden zanpakuto on my trip to a con last year, I recently modified it by adding a metal guard instead of the crappy crude wooden one that makes it look inaccurate and I already had to decrease the width of the wooden blade by whittling it to do so.

No I have the armlet cut out and im able to fit my wrist in it but im having issues making it stay in do you have any advice for that like maybe some type of fabric or something I can put around the inside to keep the armlet from just hanging? also i think it might be the yellowish one but I cant be sure since there wasnt a picture of the real life product when I bought it :/ but whatever color it is I could care less I just need it ya know if i had to pick though Id say I prefer the yellow one but everyone is different so hey and good luck with your whittling sounds very tedious :<

Oh, for the armlet, I tried to explain it, but I said to line the inside with a strip of foam sheet, and more on top of the other depending on how loose your wrist is to it.

Yeah, I just bought the chains and gold paint to help modify the bad quality it has.

I was I read your post Megacon journal and I can totally relate with the depression thing I was super sad and didnt even know why guess its normal kinda normal after these events lol im glad I wasnt the only one I had such a great time though I believe I may have even seen your Lelouch cosplay while I was getting bombarded with people asking for pics I think my buddy may have spotted you and got a pic of you from what I saw it looked fantastic

yeeeah i always get depressed after coming back home to reality after cons. but work and my class has been very stressful since i came back which doesn't help either. we just have to be thankful that we got to experience megacon in the first place and brace ourselves for our next con! ^^ do you know what con you are going to try for next? ooohhh who did you cosplay as for mega? idk if i saw you or not? thanks...i never feel like i look good enough for some reason, but i think most people are very critical of themselves i suppose.

Indeed,I too was also having a hard time going back to school and staying focused. The next con im aware of anyway is Bellecon here in Jacksonville which is also 3 days and if im not mistaken its May 10-12 I would have to see if there are any cons in Orlando or not and if I could even pencil in going it just so happened that's how my school schedule fell for a 3 day weekend and I was able to go to mega and I did cosplay for mega Friday I was Neku from the world ends with you Saturday Dr.stein from soul eater (the only one with death scythe) and Sunday L from Death note sometime today im actually going to attempt to post pics of megacon never posted anything except my megacon journal so we will see how that goes >_< and I think people can definitely be their own worst critic

yeah there are either the people who think they are better than everyone else, or the ones who think they are horrible lol. at least it seems that way. i tend to always think i look horrible. every now and then i'll feel a little confident with myself. i don't think i saw you? idk i was blind most of the con cuz didn't have my glasses on plus the contacts which aren't perscription. we weren't there for sunday but my gf says she thinks she saw you as neku? yeah bellecon looks really good and i would really love to go but if we plan to attend metrocon in tampa in july there's no way we could afford to go to bellecon plus get the time off work for it which sucks cuz i have a few friends up in jacksonville that are going.
