All the photographs featured here look so "usual" without any artificial tuning in contrast and colors and that's given by their traditional process (very minor in color photography today). This recalls much more mild observation and easthetic feeling almost forgotten in the time when photography is pushed towards 3D graphics.

It's pleasant to hear this from someone, who can find wonder and beauty in our trivial and well-known reality... Thank you..:З

And thank you.  "Well-known reality"  I like that phrase.  Further defining reality so there is no question if it could be unreal. ^_^

Don't be sorry!  I was being mischievous.  If your communicating in English when your main language is Russian, it is I who should be sorry.  Переводчик Google позволяет мне обманывать.  Plus you write much better than you imagine.

I agree completely with what you are saying, it reminds me of the book "Brave New World".  It feels hard to judge people enjoying materialistic pleasures because they are conditioned, but like you I still dislike it.  This makes me feel isolated, but communities like DeviantArt and conversations like this help form a remedy.  Many people do miss those beautiful things, it is up to people like you to make sure they do not forget them.

The truth hurts... I'm awfully bad in Enlish, so you were quite right.

Of course, I'm not ascetic at all, and what is more, I find unreasonable to deny blessings of civilization. But THIS can't be the purpose, the reason or the sense of human being...
By the way, "Brave New World" is one of my favourite dystopian novels, nevertheless, it's dreamy a little, because it gives our civilization, the overpeopled world and the imperfect social order a chance to survive and to prosper. And what is more, "superfluous men" can live there, dissenters aren't persecuted as five centuries ago or pressed as nowadays... In general, "Brave New World" is more socio-political than, for example, "We" of Yevgeny Zamyatin.

Have not heard of “We” by Yevgeny Zamyatin, I will have to add that to my reading list!  It is true that Brave New World is the best of the dystopian worlds to live in, and it appears closer to how our world works (1st world problems).  My reaction to it feels that same as the Bernard Marx in the book.  I live my life drifting sharply over the edge of hedonism and asceticism.  Experience, perspective, and contemplation seem like the only devices left to remedy it.

I like the way you think.  It is a rare to meet someone who sees what are normally ignored issues.   A refreshing conversation for sure.

Sorry for my English... I can understand everything, but it's a great problem to express my own thoughts in an another language.
I meant that modern life is becoming prone to morbid simplification. People don't need to go to a forest or to walk along a sea coast anymore, they can go to the Internet instead of it and look through bright pictures with unnatural colour correction and so on... So everything (not only photography) is becoming consumer-oriented today, and all these consumers want to be surprised, that causes more and more falseness. I consider, many people have totally forgotten, how many beautiful things are around us.
