Hello ~I am a typical artist who loves to draw

It was. I made it though! HOORAY! Now junior year. The one that I have been preparing for most of the summer... hahaha.
I really do want to enjoy myself, and I have. Hanging out with family and relaxing without thinking much. It has been quite rough lately. Or more like, all summer.

the work load is definitely up there, but as long as you manage your time and dedicate time to studying you will do great
if you ever need more advice, i'd be happy to share my experience (since i made it out alive, kind of XD)

Haha, yeah. I noticed some people had deleted accounts. I was considering of doing the same, but I was not sure if I was willing to lose that connection withΒ all of the people I have met on here. Thank you! I am glad that I can come back and still have amazing conversations. I miss being on here frequently.
Thank you so much! It has not been easy for me in the past month at all. Very stressed and consciously defeated. I have experienced so much so quickly. I kind of felt alone in all of it. I lost a dear kitty friend of mine earlier this month, and I have had trouble stabilizing myself with my emotions. He was the first cat I ever met and the reason why I love cats so much. (That's why I love your kitty photos so much!!!!!!) And school had not been so nice to me either. Haha.
No, I do not have a Facebook or any other involvement in other sites but deviantArt. I wish we could talk to each other more frequently. We could catch up on life and talk more about scrumptious food, cats, art, and other fun stuff. I would like to have that fun stuff in my life once in awhile except essays and stress in my face all the time. My counselor told me I may develop an ulcer with all my bundle of stress and worry. Huh...

Remember even if you don't do well on an exam or assignment, you will still have countless chances in the future. Its always healthy to have some stress, but don't let it overwhelm you. Its only a short period of your life and enjoy every moment when you can
And i am so sorry about your kitty friend, its a horrible feeling to lose someone close to you, and when i went through the same experience last year, the first few weeks were unbearable but with time the pain eventually went away.Β

are you in all honors classes? maybe you should cut down on some next year if that is the case, don't kill yourself over schoolΒ Β its not worth it. and if you are having a hard time keeping up, try speaking with teacher or finding a peer tutor at school, that helped for me when i was at high school

Thank you! I will! I have caught up somewhat on life. Moment to breathe right now. Just almost pulled an all nighter today...tonight...last night? haha! I had some sleep. Yeah...
I know, but I just can't get over it because I get so disappointed in myself. I got a B- yesterday on my APUSH test. Huh, still upset. And my Pre-Calculus teacher says I should be happy I got a B+ on my test, but I was still sad. I guess I really do have way too much stress. My counselor even told me (after the ulcer part) I may even jump off a building....I never even consider that, so I think she thinks I am crazy....
It hurt a lot, but I feel better now. Crying is so hard to control sometimes; it just comes out. People told me I was a pity-party and stuff. I am glad you can understand. ^^
Haha, yeah, maybe.... I am taking 3-4 APs (I am not sure if I am technically AP Chinese...), 1 Honors. I have one elective: dance!
I think I may next year...a little. I don't know how I will make it through this year though (I have 2 Bs! 2!! ) I have done both actually. Helps a lot!

Some things that helped me get past high school:
-Taking days off from school just to rest and catch up on homework. Sometimes i would have my parents call me out for certain classes because i knew we weren't going to be doing anything that day
-Using online essays as references to write essays. If i were to write an essay on The Great Gatsby, i would search "great gatsby analytical essay" on google and read a few to help me formulate my ideas, and just to make sure i was headed towards the right direction.
-making note cards for all the tests i have to study for, reading the notecards at meal time
-taking notes in class to stay awake, color coding and decorating the notes to make them easier to read in the future
-eating lunch in the classroom (senior year i never went to the cafeteria to eat)
-waking up early to finish homework and study instead of staying up late. i'm not a morning person so this was extremely hard for me at first because i kept on falling back to sleep but i found it helps if you wake up, eat a small meal, dress and then start your homework
-realize that B's in honors classes are totally acceptable
-bothering teachers into helping me out on homework and even tests XD
-talking with my parents about everything and getting their help with my stressful situations
-eating breakfast! best tip ever
Something i realized after graduating high school was that my friend who had a 4.45 gpa and a 35 ACT score got into the same college with the same degree as my other friend who had a 3.35 gpa and 24 ACT.
Don't worry to much about this stuff!
