Hey Styx! Yeah! I dont have internet at home bleh! really anoying i got some new pictures to load up... guess i have to try another time to get them up huh? haha.

Maybe if you draw a fast sketch or something and ill colour it. I love to color pictures someone else has done^^. Gives me a lot of practice too with my copic pencils^^

I have asked many peoples to do one with me but not many have answered.

And i have drawn some new pictures but i cant put them up.

Unfortunately, I'm not open to doing art trades or requests at this time. I'm focusing on working on art for personal improvement and to get projects crossed off on a very long list in my head >.< But, I'm happy you considered doing a trade with me - I'm glad that idea appeals to you.

I would love to do a pic with my main character Lestat with you would be so cool!

The thing is i dont know so many people around here who could like to do an art trade, many people whant to get paid for it and ...I cant afford it.
Both me and my boyfriend are kinda broke because none of us have a work, we are trying our best to get one at least one of us. But as it looks today its really hard.

And my scanner is by my parents house and i am not there so very often plus my mom works at a school with a lot of children wich makes her use it a lot more then i do, so i have let her have it just for the children. She prints out a lot of stuff and makes a lot of copies too with it.
But probably if i am by them i will scan in all the new pictures i have made and put them up.

Hope youll watch them then

Your character sounds interesting. I read your stories about him. Is he the very Lestat who is destined to be the most powerful or at least well-known vampire ever?

Yeah, sorry about that for the art trades.

I think artists shy away from art trades because they may feel obligated to work on something that could be outside their realm of interest. And, they don't foresee getting much out of the time investment.

The way I see it, if you really want your ideas turned into artwork, and you're an artist, yourself, just keep working at your technique and skills until you're satisfied with what you can produce. I know it might seem like a while before that happens, especially if you're still starting out, but once you get to that point, you'll be able to create whatever you want for yourself! And, unfortunately, the alternatives would be to pay someone or find a really nice artist friend XD

Ah, well hopefully some day you'll be able to get yourself a scanner or something. I think every artist deserves to have their work seen and appreciated!

The lestat i have done is more the powerful one acctualy. I love powerful vampires.
But i would like a new name on him. People have complained about that i named him Lestat because Anne rice has the name in her stories.
Could you maybe help me out?

I dont know where this character came from but he really is the best character ive ever done and i wont stop drawing him. I just need some more ideas about him.

I havent been in the mood to continue with it because two of my friends who is in them (at least you could say that) has helped me a lot with ideas and such.

The older "Second chance" is really bad. IM not a very good writer. Acctualy i have never read a book in my life. so i think that explains a little hehe.
The only things i read are the manga books. They are much easier for me to read. hehe. Im lazy!

A friend of mine has also written a story about my character. And she has cought a lot of his appearance. and also his mood and such. I really love how she has made him because thats how i would like him to be..

I whant him to be like a murderer or something like that. But still a friendly one. Her Character whos called Namaroth is awesome too. So she wrote a story about mine and her character together, when they where young and best friends.
I have read it about 6 or 7 times now and i really would like her to continue with it.

Hey, no problem about responding. I try to respond to most comments when I have the time.

Ah, well if your Lestat is an original character, you should change the name. Otherwise, people will already have a conception of what Lestat is like from other stories.

I could come up with some names, but I think it'd be best for you to find something you like because only you have the clearest concept of what your character is like and what kind of name would suit him.

Your stories have a good foundation and I like the uneasy interaction and relationships between the vampire characters: Lestat's uncle being evil, and his friend, Namaroth, being "saved" by him through turning him into a vampire. (I wonder: something Namaroth may resent later, maybe adding a twist to the plot?).

To offer some feedback, the writing style could use more flair and refinement. There are also grammatical errors I noticed from time to time. I'm guessing that this might be because you're just starting to write, which is fine. It'll take learning and practice to overcome these.

If you considering writing as a hobby and want to improve your skill, I recommend reading A LOT and expanding your areas of interest outside of manga books to at least novels. And read from a variety of authors and genres. Reading will give you a lot of inspiration and ideas for characters, names, and settings. Also, if it applies, consider reading about the history of the setting you're writing in.

If you read enough and depending on the authors you read from, their style will influence how you speak and think when dealing with words. It's possible to adopt high quality writing skills from becoming familiar with books written by the pros. It's pretty amazing.

Some names I can think of:
Lucas, Stephen, Adrick/Edrick/Edricht, Aldrick, Caine, Delimonde/Delmond, Lenhunt, Malthus.

One way to get inspiration for names would be to look up lists of names of the time period you're writing in, and pick one or come up with variations.
