From prior knowledge, it's simply a "trade".
You request a drawing from another person, but in return they will request a drawing from you.
It can be anything, from characters to portraits, etc.

You can just ask for a character and a pose of your choice.
It's completely up to you in that regard.
Vice versa also applies.
