Yeah they're in Mississippi, they said you were coming to visit, but sadly I just got laid off of my job so I won't get to meet you. I wanted to see your drawings in person and exchange techniques we use I guess... It's just rare for me to meet another artist, it happens like never. I'm looking at your boyfriend's stuff, he has a different style than anything I've seen. I like it, does he use Maya or Autodesk?

Ack, that sucks. Sorry you got laid off. I know what it's like to not have much access to other artists, as I kinda grew up in an area where I was the only one interested in drawing. Buuut, now I'm pretty lucky to know others that do what I do.
Yeah, Ben has a really cool style. I believe most of the CG stuff on his site is Maya. He's done some really awesome animations. If you have any questions for him, you could possibly email him. Though I'm not sure if he'd get back to ya... I don't know if he's all that great about responding to emails, but I could always pester him for ya.

I understand that they may not get the OC of yours, but I think they just like the overall aesthetic of the image. But that's my opinion.
