In such a situation, she would fly into an area in which she was familiar. A forest. And, even more specifically, a faerie kingdom. Being of the same species, she got along well-enough though it did seem they held the slightest bit of apprehension for her. She didn't hold herself over them given her own stature, mostly because it was not in her nature to do so. She hardly thought of herself as a princess anyway. More like a tinkerer and adventurer. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-21 13:56:46 +0000 UTC] Adelinda, of course, knew immediately when the little fairy entered her territory. Vast as it was, she had...triggers that lined the borders to alert the witch of any unknown presences. It was a safety precaution, mostly. Couldn't have any stupid humans finding her and risking her secret. She ultimately ignored the fae though, thinking nothing of her presence and continuing about her business downstairs. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-21 19:21:17 +0000 UTC] Hearing her language in such a foreign place made her jump, her eyes looked upon the other's presence as she made herself apparent to Raisie. The counter spell told the young faerie that this witch was skilled, an aspect that left Raisie realizing the grave mistake she had made. She would attempt to fly off back the way she came but, glowing bindings entrapped her arms and wings. She would be plucked from where she had stood before stuffed into a cage that radiating with a metal the faerie knew all too well. Iron. It felt like she was surrounded in a constant and oppressive heat, her wings lowering against her back as the iron affected her. The bindings would disappear but, there was truly no need for them with how iron affected her. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-21 21:43:00 +0000 UTC] "Business is business, little frauleïn. Und his payment vas overdue," she hissed with a manic grin, showing off her twin rows of sharpened teeth. She emphasized the last word by pressing the blade to the man's flesh and dragging it down his chest and stomach. She was practically going to fillet the man to get what she was after. He owed a terrible debt, after all. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-21 23:04:09 +0000 UTC] A small gasp escaped her lips upon seeing the witch tear into his body, down his chest and stomach. It made her quake with a great fear for what was to become of the mortal man and, most of all, herself. She had no idea what sort of cruelty this witch had planned for her when she got done with the man but, Raisie wasn't about to find out. It was a hard task to accomplish, with the horrible noises coming from Adelinda's work and the radiating heat of the iron cage that surrounded her. She refused to look towards the scene before her, simply trying to concentrate on the cage and a way out of it. With knife in hand, she would move closer to the edge of the cage before harshly hitting it, only to burn herself in the process and cause her the smallest bit of knockback that left her to slide across the ground of the cage. She would hiss, touching the burn gently. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-22 00:37:22 +0000 UTC] "Mein gott, I don't think you belong to any of zhe courts do you?" she sighed, an annoyed scowl crossing over her face, "Unseelie are violent but more honest, Seelie are cruel but zhink zhey are doing zhe right thing. Vell? Are you Seelie or Unseelie?" she pressed, stalking back towards the cage to set down the object she had retrieved. On closer inspection, it looked to be...some sort of bone, but charred black. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-22 01:22:45 +0000 UTC] "No court around here. I am from the Glens of Scotland." She spoke, noting that annoyed scowl that pursed the witch's features as those words escaped her lips. "I am Seelie. But, we do not hold ourselves as cruel. We seek out mortal help, warn them when they offend us, and return kindness to them when they are kind to us. At least, that is what my kingdom believed and practiced. I cannot say the same about those around here." She said. After all, she had only acquainted herself rather recently with the local Seelie. She looked towards the unusual charred bone before back to Adelinda. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-22 01:34:55 +0000 UTC] "Tch. I knew it. Nothing but a little brat," she grumbled, hefting the cage up to look more directly at the fae girl, "I am twice your age, little princess. And zhe rules of magic have little hold on one such as myself," she warned, her free hand extending to point at the bone. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-22 01:50:04 +0000 UTC] Raisie would brace herself as the cage was raised up and she was brought closer to the witch. She would stick out her tongue to the witch as her own glower of disapproval continued. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-22 22:07:19 +0000 UTC] "Und I have paid zhe price in full. Zhat bastard human vas zhe last life I vould need, und he still stole somezhing from me. Und finally I will bring forth a dragon," she hummed, setting the cage back down and walking back towards the slowly dying human, her hand moving to tangle her fingers in his and yank his head up. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-22 22:25:12 +0000 UTC] Another gasp would escape the faerie's lips upon seeing the heart being cruelly yanked from the chest. Her eyes shutting quickly as she looked away once again, trying desperately to avoid being sick at the sight of such a thing. This was cruel. Pure evil but, she could do nothing to stop it. Her powers and even, her flying were useless in this cage. She felt like a million weights were pushing down upon her. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-23 07:41:02 +0000 UTC] "Zhink of me vhat you must, but I am not evil, little fae princess of the Glenn," she hummed, setting the heart down beside the charred piece of bone, "As I said, I cater to both sides of zhe coin vhen it comes to my magic. I even have a few angel feathers in my collection of artifacts, as zhey vere given to me in a fair trade by a little messenger girl. Everything I barter vith vas all gained by personal means or trading. But I am zhe furthest zhing from evil you vill find. Maybe you might learn a zhing or two vhile I have you in your little bird cage," she chuckled, hefting the cage up again and beginning to leave her basement 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-24 20:06:45 +0000 UTC] The small faerie's arms crossed in front of her chest, listening to the witch's words with a leery ear. She still wasn't completely swayed to believe that Adelinda was as she said she was. Witches could be tricky and mischevious in their ways. 👍: 0 ⏩: 0 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-20 07:51:24 +0000 UTC] Of the Glen. n-osferatu here 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-20 11:05:34 +0000 UTC] always a price. tO BE FAIR 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-20 16:54:56 +0000 UTC] Of the Glen. Oooh, we can still work with this. If anything, little Rai might annoy her. Mostly with being like "Well, that's rude. Humans shouldn't be harmed in such a way!" 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-20 17:20:13 +0000 UTC] always a price. yea that'll get her locked up XD 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-20 17:39:41 +0000 UTC] Of the Glen. Or worse yet, Rai might try to rescue some of the poor sods that Adelinda snags to collect those organs and such from. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2018-05-20 22:21:15 +0000 UTC] always a price. yea rai is definitely gonna lose a wing. or two 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 d-ibaci In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-20 23:12:32 +0000 UTC] Of the Glen she'll put up a fight! but, figuring she is just a tiny little thing... it won't do much. i'll send you a starter for this now. :3 👍: 0 ⏩: 0 txmptress In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-04-30 21:05:34 +0000 UTC] .sweet temptation. n-osferatu here finally made a fem chara that might actually stay with me longer than a few weeks xd 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to txmptress [2018-05-12 11:46:45 +0000 UTC] all magic. oooh my god 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 txmptress In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-20 04:48:01 +0000 UTC] .sweet temptation. both! knowing the personalities of these two.... it will be both! 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to txmptress [2018-05-20 11:06:26 +0000 UTC] always a price. how shall we proceed - 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 txmptress In reply to P-riceToPay [2018-05-22 03:51:07 +0000 UTC] .sweet temptation. mmm, would ady ever summon one for any particular reason? either that or ady could always go to the club jez performs in. or jez can go to ady's shop. c; 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to txmptress [2018-05-22 21:47:49 +0000 UTC] always a price. oh she would for sure for spell work 👍: 0 ⏩: 0 P-riceToPay In reply to d-ibaci [2017-12-25 16:58:21 +0000 UTC] all magic comes with a price. ooooh, hello!! 👍: 0 ⏩: 0 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-27 23:03:04 +0000 UTC] Even for his far below-average eyesight, the the sign for the witch's shop was attention grabbing to the bloodthirsty German, and while he figured it was beneath him to show interest in such a shady business, he'd been nothing but desperate for the past 30 years. Life with minimal bloodshed had been quite dull, and it was only a matter of seconds before the bell above the door rung out, signaling that somebody had entered. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 01:40:59 +0000 UTC] The soft sounds of Largo al Factotum filtered throughout the occult shop as mere background, but the source of the music didn't seem to be anywhere. Adelinda herself was in the far, far back rooms, the door to which was hidden away first by a maze of tunnels she created from her magic, then by a door locked to the rest of the public. The music was much louder where she was, a mad grin on her face as she took what was owed from a rather selfish and incredibly stupid human. A small squeak in her ear made her pause her dissection of the dying male, her gaze flitting first to the mouse on her shoulder, then to the exit. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 01:56:12 +0000 UTC] "Oh, me? I'm just vindow shopping today. But judging by vhat you have in stock, I may just become a regular." He looked up from the jar of eyes, which was ridiculously cliche in the movies, but now that he was seeing one for real, it was far more interesting. Amazing, even. Genuine smiles weren't a very rare thing to see from the warlord, considering how much he'd mellowed out in the past few decades, and that was just what the witch would see. He looked pure, and greatly out of place in such a grisly environment. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 02:04:31 +0000 UTC] "But of course, herr major. All magic comes vith a price," she purred, her own smile twisting into a near manic grin, her eyes sparking like fire. Thr spark was brief enough that it would have been missed if one even blinked. Her hands moved beneath the front counter, coming back into a view a moment later with a jar full of....something red. The clear glass was died with whatever was inside. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 02:12:36 +0000 UTC] "Of course you know my name. I should have expected such." 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 12:44:58 +0000 UTC] "No secrets are kept from me here, Major," she preened, her free hand rising to tap at her temple, she waved her hand over the heart after, allowing him to see it as she did. Immediately the heart was dyed black, a heavy shroud of smog surrounding it, "I get some demons through here, und zhe lower level ones like zhe taste of such vickedness," she explained, waving her hand over the heart again and placing it back in the jar. She blinked at his question, her head tilting to the side before she grinned broadly, once more showing her pointed teeth cut like a shark. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 16:39:52 +0000 UTC] While he had to squint to get a decent view of the demon-infested heart, his eyes immediately widened in curiosity at the sight of the smog and blackness. "Vell. You can trust me vhen I say I von't be complaining about my heart problems ever again." He blinked and stepped back, somewhat unsure about being within such a close vicinity of the satanic organ. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 17:24:29 +0000 UTC] "Irony can certainly strike at zhe vorst times," she laughed, "relax about zhe heart. Zhe person I took it from...vell, its state vas from his actions," she hummed, leaning againat the counter with her head propped in her hand, "now, magic alvays come vith a price. If I am to help vith your blood problem, zhen natural laws vill dictate zhe price. Depending on vhat I do," she explained, her expression serious as her free hand tapped a staccatto rhythm against the counter. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 17:35:06 +0000 UTC] That statement was enough to make the Major look down at his own chest. After such a terrible history of war and carnage, he couldn't help but wonder what his own heart was really like. That is, unless it was possible to heal. He'd been far too relaxed lately. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 17:58:22 +0000 UTC] "Natural, meaning...Hadyn!" she called, lifting her head up and staring in a different direction. It took a few seconds for her to receive an answer, via that of a far larger than average crow chittering at her as it landed on the counter, a cloth bag in ihis talons. Cooing at the bird, she ruffled the feathers on the back of his neck as she took the bag, emptying the contents to reveal small bones. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 18:09:02 +0000 UTC] The Major stared at the bird for a good few seconds before holding out his hand with a friendly smile. Small colorful birds were one of his biggest weaknesses, but he loved corvids as well. He couldn't help but think of his own long-deceased hooded crow as he tried to welcome the witch's bird into his hand. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 18:40:07 +0000 UTC] The large crow eyed the Major's hand with his red eyes, head tilting this way and that before curious poking at his palm with his beak. Chuttering again, he hopped across the counter before jumping to his usual perch; on top of Adelinda's head. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 21:12:54 +0000 UTC] "Zhis is understandable." He nodded, knowing full well how crows could be. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 P-riceToPay In reply to watchthew0rldburn [2017-11-28 21:23:12 +0000 UTC] She couldn't help but laugh at that, releasing his hand once the deal was struck and venturing from behind the counter towards one of the shelves. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1 watchthew0rldburn In reply to P-riceToPay [2017-11-28 21:30:51 +0000 UTC] "Ah, but zhat's vhere I must hesitate. You see, much of my body has been replaced vith mechanical parts as you probably already know. As a result I've become quite attached to zhe organic parts zhat still belong to me, and only me. It vould be preferable for zhe eyes I already have to be fixed- If you are able to." 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Adelinda was born in Europe, in modern day Germany, during one of the high times of witch hunting; 50 AD. Christianity had begun to gain a firm hold upon society, and Adelinda's family were good, God fearing Catholics; at least her father was. It wasn't discovered until after the girl was born, but she was descended from a long and powerful line of witches, dating back for centuries. Her mother had died during childbirth, keeping her heritage a secret from her husband for years, until, like all the witches in that line, the girl had drawn her power and life from her mother and was produced to be a stronger form of the Line. The women were immortals until they grew with child, and their magic was taken from them by their own seed; but only if the child was a daughter.
Adelinda hadn't begun to show signs of magic usage until she was two years old, and she had brought back to life a small baby crow; the very crow she now uses as her most trusted familiar. Her father, only a simple farmer, grew fearful, then suspicious, and then angered. He wasn't sure how, but he was positive that it was the girl's fault for the death of his wife, unbeknownst that witches usually obtained such strong magic only through a direct line. He took to drinking, being quickly labeled as the town drunk, but he kept away from Adelinda, fearful of what she might do to him if he upset her. But she was only a child. What on earth could she do at this age?
By age five, the black haired girl's magic had grown even stronger, and her father was growing angrier and angrier with his drinking. Adelinda was merely playing with one of her straw dolls when her father stormed into their home and began to beat her mercilessly, only stopping when the other villagers began to venture close and try and see what was going on in the home. These beatings continued on until Adelinda grew to an age where her more feminine charms began to show, and the abuse began to...change. It remained both physical and verbal, but had taken a far more sexual turn, and the girl had only begun to grow more and more fearful; this of course, making her powers begin to grow out of her control. She was barely sixteen when she had finally snapped, her once beautiful blue hues turning a dark blood red forever, and when she "awoke", her father was dead on his bed, his heart in her palm and her body covered in his blood. The crow she had saved, of whom she hadn't allowed in for days because of fear of punishment from her father, had broken down the door moments later, her unleashed magic bleeding into him, causing his own unleashed magic to flow, and giving him a second form. He took the petrified Adelinda from the home, and the two fled the village to not return there for another two hundred years.
During that time, Adelinda and Haydn, her familiar, had gone into hiding, seeking out others of her kind to help her gain control of her magic before she would hang or burn for it. They traveled around Asia, Europe, and Africa, learning all different forms of magic, collecting as much information on creatures and magic as they possibly could, and watching how both would evolve from culture to culture. This, she learned from humans and other witches. From the creatures themselves, she learned how to use their own sort of spell binding, how to ward against it, and, from immense pressure from Adelinda, how to kill them. Some were unwilling to talk until she began to torture them for information, using what she had at her disposal, and adding weaknesses to the list when they refused to speak. She had become ruthless, her familiar forever remaining by her side despite her cruelties, never even minding the bloodshed. While she slept, however, was a much different story. Hadyn could protect her from outside troubles, but when it came to the nightmares that tormented her of her father, he had grown frazzled and panicked, unable to do anything to stop the torrent of fear tormenting his mistress. She had reached the point, after fifty years, where she had asked the crow to sleep with her, finding his company helpful during sleep, his presence keeping the bad dreams at bay. She still sleeps with him to this day, should the nightmares crop back again.
After a few hundred years, Adelinda, still looking as young as ever, was becoming heartbroken. Her precious "siblings" were being burned or hanged left and right, the churches grip upon the country still holding strong, but was slowly beginning to weaken. It was during this time that journies to find India by going west were beginning to grow in the heads of the traders, and Adelinda had grown incredibly curious, eager to learn something new, and not have to fear hiding from the church quite as much. So, when an Italian man by the name of Columbus had been cleared to go, Adelinda made plans to sneak onboard and venture on board, curious to see if it would actually work. What she was met with was beyond her expectations. She had been to India, and knew what to expect, so when she was greeted with people who weren't Indian, she was pleasantly surprised. Stealing away the ship, she began to travel with her familiar once more, seeing the new lands and animals, once more learning the stories, and greeted with both admiration and fear, all because of her eyes. It was unnatural for one to have red eyes, and most refused to even speak with her; which she didn't mind.

Under the allowance of the German faerie kingdom, she would make a temporary place in one of their vast trees. A small but, cozy little place that she was content with. She would make herself at home... mostly. At least until she wandered off to do her own collecting and exploring of this new environment. Such exploring would lead her to come upon what would seem to be a mortal's home? Perhaps a witches even? Her thoughts wandered as she closed in and felt the magic practically pulse from within. She could ascertain if it was of dark origin or light as she was still quite new about judging such things but, she knew she would find out soon enough.
She would sneak through the open crack of the one window and allow her eyes to take in the unique baubles and ingredients that were stocked neatly upon the walls and tables. Her little wings would carry her forward silently, her eyes carefully reading the words of the items that were not of the language of this land. Most of it was rare herbs that she recognized while others looked far more sinister than she wanted to linger upon. She would continue to silently browse until an odd noise emitted from an internal room further in the building. Her infamous curiosity got the better of her as she wandered forward, past the light curtains and face-to-face with a bound and frightened mortal. A shiver would run down her spine as she fluttered closer, taking in the great pain that emitted from his aura. Blood would cover some rather large gashes strewn upon his barren chest as his ragged breaths consumed the space. "Who could have done this to you?" She whispered to herself, her thick accent floating from her lips as her fingers touched one of the wounds before she whispered softly in Gaelic, a spell to help repair the damage. While the spell did its slow work, she would flutter to one of his bound wrists. "I'll get you out of here. This is... horrible." She said, reaching her hands out to get to work on breaking the bindings. Completely unaware of the presence lingering in the darkness....
As it was her personal home and not her shop, she conducted her more sinister business in her basement, whereas the room she conducted such matters in her shop was so heavily warded it was impossible for one to find unless they already knew the way; or if Adelinda was with them. Her basement was unwarded, meaning anyone could find it. What did she have to hide in her own home? It was her turf. Any problems to arise she could handle with ease.
She still disliked someone tampering with business though.
Any magic the fae attempted was undone with a string of Gaelic words from the witch herself as she stepped out of the shadows, eyes glowing like fire as she used a temporary entrapment spell to bind the fairy, the workings lasting long enough for Adelinda to snatch up the tiny creature and stuff her inside of an iron barred cage. She was a witch who dealt with fae of both courts. It was almoat common knowledge now that they had a...particularly harsh weakness to iron.
"My my, vhat do ve have here?" she purred, eyes still glowing as she lifted the cage to stare at the girl inside, "didn't your queen varn you to never delve into zhe business of vitches?" Her tone turned into a growl at the words as she set the cage down on a table, leaving her bloodied tools in full use, and even picking a knife back up, "such a shame. Now I have to undo all of your magic. I vasn't finished vith him yet."
She would look towards the witch as she heard her cruel words. She would glare upon Adelinda, fingers gripping the small knife she kept upon her thigh."I 'ave never met ones that 're cruel enough to harm mortals! Unhand him, he doesnae deserve this!" She sneered, throwing the small knife at the space in between the bars. The knife would bounce back, hitting some sort of ward before flopping upon the ground of the cage. "Unhand me!" She continued before she felt the cage placed upon the table, near several terrifying looking tools. She would scurry to grab her knife again before looking around the cage, desperate to find something to allow her an escape.
"Now, little Glenn princess. It vould seem your views of man are...misinformed. Und zhat of my own kind have been jaded," she started, grinning wider as she sunk her hand inside of the gaping hole, "Your kind know as vell as any zhat all magic comes vith a price. He knew vhat vas owed vhen he struck zhat deal vith me, und he ist now paying zhe price for attempting to steal from me!" she spat, wrenching her hand back out. The limb was caked in blood, but in her hand was what looked like a small ball of...something. Whatever it was was not of man made creation; and it was clear this man was really trying to rob her
One part of the witches words left a bead of terror to run down her forehead. She knows? She would think upon hearing the witch refer to her as princess. It was something she tried so desperately to keep away from knowing eyes as she knew the title would fetch any one creature a handsome price if they got their hands on her. She tried hard to keep the surprise from her features, turning away as she continued to speak to the witch, staring elsewhere as the blood and gore did nothing but make her sick. "My views of mortals 're what I make of them. I think your views 're the ones that 're skewed." She challenged as she removed herself from the ground of the cage, trying to find some sort of weakness in the cage itself. " That's true but, no price is worth another life."
"How old are you anyvay? Talk to me of your views of man vhen you are my age, hmm?" she scoffed, flicking the cage and sending the girl inside sprawling onto her back again, "And zhere are far more magicks zhat require a life zhen you think. I cater to both sides of zhe coin, little princess. You have no room to judge."
Her cage would be flicked, falling backwards with a simple "oof" to follow. "I am 200 years old." She said with some amount of annoyance in her tone as she heard the witch's comment. "Perhaps not but, to torture a man is cruel nonetheless. If you need to collect something from him, then do it quick. Spare the needless pain. THAT is where I'll judge."
"Do you know vhat zhat is, frauleïn? Zhat, is zhe bone of a dragon, und a very rare one at zhat. Zheir very bones are black, and zheir rarity makes pieces zhem very expensive not matter vhat cost. It ist important to me because I am in zhe process of reviving one from death. Now how many lives do you zhink zhat vill cause as payment?"
"Far too many." She commented upon hearing that bone belonged to one of a dragon. She had seen only a few back in Scotland but, not enough to make her an expert. After all, it was highly advised for Fae to avoid the fiery creatures and their caves. They were far too dangerous to take lightly.
"His black heart vill also be good bartering for demons I vish to trade vith. Demons love zhe taste of a sinner's heart," she cackled, her free hand stabbing into the man's chest and yanking out the barely beating organ. His body seized before falling limp, eyes rolling back in his head. As soon as her hand had touched the heart, a black fog surrounded it. It was an affect of sin that literally stained it, but was unseen to those without the talents to reveal it
She could do nothing but, shake her head. And continue to find a way out of this place. She would throw her knife upon one particular area, over and over again but, the knock back from the iron and the wards around the cage made her attempts ever the more fruitful.
"Maybe. How long are you exactly going to keep me here? I dont enjoy being held captive in such ways." She said to the witch, bracing herself as she was lifted up and lead from the basement.
anyway, knowing that ady likes to collect magical/unusual items for her store-
what if she captured my little faerie here? rai is a rather naive one and wouldn't likely think
nothing bad if ady until it's too late
addy does have deals with quite a number of fae folk
they have a mutual understanding
at least with the unseelie
she's only mean when one seriously pisses her off
anyway, i thinks it could be fun for a succubus and a witch to meet? especially jez and ade here...
also yes, i really like using dita as a fc xd
i don't how this will end up, very good or very bad
merry xmas btw--
ooooh, yea, that could definitely work! especially since addy caters to both sides of magic < w >
Muttering to herself in rapid German about her work being interrupted just at the best part, she adjusted her attire, using magic to clear away any blood on her person, and magic was used once more to get her to the front of the shop without traveling quite so far through the maze; for her, it was a short walk. Her head poked out of the door first, red eyes blinking as she looked around the room before settling on the stout German. She blinked again, and soon a wide grin peeled across her face, revealing her twin rows of filed down and pointed teeth.
"Guten nacht, herr!" she chirped in greeting, stepping out fully and locking the door again once it was shut behind her, "something you needed? Or are you like most and only here for idle curiosity?" she cooed after, her head tilting to the side in question, eyes never leaving the Major as he wandered about her shop
But the almost angelic smile was quick to disappear and twist into something entirely new as he stood up straight to face the shop owner. "But before I make any purchases, vhat are your policies? Surely zhere's a catch, nein?"
"Zhese, for example. Black hearts are a rarity dpending on levels of corruption, und are quite zhe tasty treat for some of my...other, clientelle," she explained, swishing her finger through the air. The lid screwed off with the simple action, and she reached inside to remove one of the organs lying within. It seemed perfectly normal, but Adelinda was able to see the truth of it at least, "I obtain zhese myself from zhose who think zhey can cheat me of payments, particular the greediest of the bunch..."
He nodded approvingly, before slowly approaching the counter with interest. Out of all the monsters that he had encountered, the Major couldn't imagine anybody who would want to eat a black heart. Purple potato chips were strange enough...
"Vhat payments do you accept? All I'm looking for is food fit for a vampire so zhat my friends von't have to hunt for zhemselves and risk being arrested- or vorse. but if it's replacement stock you're seeking, I fear shopping hear may be a bit counter intuitive."
"Nein nein, herr major! I handle in bartering," she giggled, giving an exagerrated shrug, "stealing organs is simply save for zhose who think zhey can double cross me! As for your army, Zhe best I can do is...information, so to speak. Vampires vill drink blood, zhat ist a fact ve cannot change. Zhe best I can offer is to try und find some drifters and bleed them out, or find a blood bank," she answered, a small frown pulling on her face, "I'm a simple vitch, Major, and deal in areas of my craft. I might be able to figure out something, but it'll be...costly"
"Please, do tell. Our rations and running low, and zhe nearby blood bank is becoming... suspicious. Granted, most of my battalion is long-gone, but it seems like my hungriest soldiers vere zhe ones who survived."
"Natural, meaning...?" He raised a curious eyebrow. Was she trying to confuse him? "Before I make any deals, I must know every possible method, and zhe price zhat comes along vith it."
"Say your vish vas for someone to extend zheir own life," she explained, lifting one of the bones between two fingers, "in order for zhat to happen, another must die to correct zhe natural order of zhings, ja? So, if I am to give you blood, zhen blood must be given in return." Again, there was that manic grin, "Nothing much. Just a small amount from any who use mein product. Vampire's blood can make some lovely curses~"
"Now vampire blood, I can absolutely supply." His friendly smile remained in the presence of the satiny black bird, but there was darkness in his voice.
"Don't mind him. He's been vith me since I vas two, und I brought him back to life," she giggled, reaching up to stroke the bird's chest. She caught the Major's change in tone easily, and in turn extended her hand, "zhen ve have a deal. I've been vorking on something for some other vampiric clientele, so zhis should vork here as well..."
"A deal it is." He extended his own chubby hand and shook hers. "But I don't think I'm finished yet. Please do forgive me, I never did have very much restraint vhen it comes to shopping. But can you by any chance, restore my eyesight? I feel like I've been missing out on far too many enjoyable things."
"Zhat's a parlor trick in comparison. Luckily I have eyes to spare," she chimed, retrieving the jar holding the very thing he was looking for and bringing it back to the front counter, "you know vhat zhey say; an eye for an eye. I'll even be generous and give you a pair that belonged to a human," she hummed, gesturing to one of the eyes that decidedly not human
